I still occasionally find myself editing incorrect or misspelled tags on songs I downloaded five or ten years ago.

That's why the good Lord gave us piracy.

Thanks Todd! I've enjoyed all the Freaks & Geeks reviews (even if I never bothered to comment).

The best part is when Graham Chapman's cop briefly looks down at his thighs before yelling "Wot?!"

Yeah, Bill! If only they had understood that they lacked freedom, they wouldn't have protested their lack of freedom, and therefore we should sneer at them for opposing the regime we think deserves to be opposed. Or something.

Haven't seen the series but I did watch the whole clip, and no, the subtitles don't get any better. They were pretty wretched, weren't they? Hopefully they're just like that on YouTube, not the DVDs.

If you mean the little guy in the first scene in that clip, he wasn't supposed to be Sherlock. Lestrade, maybe? Holmes doesn't appear until the middle of the clip, and he's in disguise until near the end.

I'm betting Todd just forgot Viktor's last name and tried to cover with the spelling comment, hoping that the name would be something really long and complex.

He can get away with it because the whole mission was off the books, so no one else can report him without implicating themselves. That doesn't mean Gaad can't punish him unofficially, of course.

While not denying the validity of your feelings, I can't agree with equating "the concept yucked me out" to "it was a bad show."

My one-sentence summary: I've loved all of Joss's shows, but Dollhouse is the only one where I loved the concept as much or more than the characters.

It was very good, but too many fans seem to worship it to the detriment of seasons 2, 3 and 4.

Buffy (and any other show) would be both shorter and better if you cut off the weakest episodes and storylines. But does that mean that the length itself was the problem? Not in this case, I think.

I have always (well, since 2009) thought that that was the major reasons so many people didn't even want to try Dollhouse.

Like everyone else already said, Man in the Street is the first really good episode. But I don't think you get its full impact if you don't already know what's going on. So my advice is watch the first episode (Ghost) first, *then* skip ahead to Man in the Street.

Is that true? I don't know but it sounds like an urban legend to me. BTVS was still airing when Firefly was developed.

While we disagree about Prophecy Girl, I would definitely agree with you that The Pack is terribly UNDERrated. One of the best of the season, and the best up to that point in the show (which admittedly is only 6 episodes).

I'd try just watching Angel and Prophecy Girl. PG is easily the best episode of the season (despite lame special effects). Angel is in the middle quality-wise, but the most important in terms of developing the characters and mythos. If you like them at all, go back to the rest of Season 1 later … but you can still
