I think they were going for the irony of her claiming not to be the same person she was 20 years ago whilst dropping right back into her mad concession skills from 20 years ago.

It would have made more sense to have Crowley's ultimatum first, and then have Sam and Dean realize they still have Abbadon to use for the healing. That way, she wouldn't have been their (foolish) first choice, but a genuine act of desperation.

It doesn't look like the boys will know that Heaven is closing too, so they won't be thinking about this.

I wasn't sure what the value of the "ask a girl to prom service" was.

The contrast between Datak as tactician and Stahma as the strategist who sees the big picture should be more interesting, but honestly, I find Datak without Stahma to be a tedious. Too much posturing, not enough quietly confident menace.  Stahma makes Datak more complex when they are together, but her scenes with

Grimmstapo?

Juliette is the only character whose death wouldn't hurt the show right now, but if they kill her just as all this amnesia/relationship angst gets resolved, it will come across as a cynical attempt at achieving peak Gwen Stacy http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/…

Heroes spoilers, I guess?

Yeah, there's a lot of folks in the North who would like to give Theon a good torturing, so I understand some of his confusion, but really he should have figured it out by now.

Something that's bugging me about the Theon story is that he doesn't know where he isn't. Near the end of his escape he got a look at the outside of the fort he's in and the environs in daylight. Theon should have known that wasn't Deepwood Motte or the Carhold.

@waxlion:disqus   Yeah, Teen Titans Go is another recent cartoon that went to the cannibalism well for dark humor (in the first episode no less).

Also the conflation of personal enhancement with non-directed evolution (which operates on allele frequencies in populations, NOT on individuals) is an ever-present irritant to real evolutionary biologists hearing pop sci invocations of their field. Cosima should have been gritting her teeth through the whole thing.

Are we to assume that Strax is not all there, mentally, after his revival post Demon's Run?

The folks on the Stephanie Miller show give Rick Overton all the credit for Dennis Miller's hey day (his HBO show) and imply that the unfunny right wing sychophant is just Miller being himself.

I think Bjorn is picking up on something things (probably not consciously) that Ragnar is not willing to admit to himself. First, this is no mere fling, Ragnar is genuinely smitten. Second, there is tension between Lagertha and Ragnar. Bjorn may or may not understand the "sons" issue is part of that, but he surely

Most Britta jokes are about her as an uninformed poser. Just being a vegan doesn't fit that,

I'm guessing they were going for an anemia joke? Getting enough iron is a problem for young women in genera. IIRC being sure to get enough iron is something for Vegans at least to be aware of.

I was left wondering if Siggy slipped her an abortifacient somehow.

Wikipedia says season 1 has 10 episodes, and filming wrapped in Feb.

Cosima is a Greek name I think. Might she have come to the US for school, or maybe her parents immigrated?
