Aaron the nanite god received his first burnt offering tonight.
It's interesting that the nanites thought Miles would need more help than Rachel. Maybe they'll develop multi-tasking capability — and put double the fireflies on Charlie.

withdrawl, not poisoning.
I shudder to think how much alcohol it would take to poison the gang at this point.
Such poor strategy in that film. Everyone knows you lead with separate, ineffective attacks by the component parts, and only then form the giant robot that always saves the day.
Nice to see Charlie with a better design than those Jaegers. :-)
I just watched the pilot episode the other day, and the establishing "interview" about their relationship was how the stress of the adoption caused Cam to gain a lot of weight and Mitchell was (not really) OK with it.
Many relationships end when one partner has a sudden drop in attractiveness, and many relationships…
So, the restaurant's policy of not seating a party until everyone was there. Is that a thing? (I admit, I've never eaten at a restaurant with a 6 month waiting list). What if someone out right can't make it at all at the last minute?
And IIRC, Lilith really dug that little girl outfit she was running around in for a while. In Lucifer/Michaels case, they had very specific needs. It's not unreasonable that even for Demon's some suits have a more comfortable feel than others. Abbadon is probably somewhere in between. It's worth noting that her first…
A couple of minor, but probably necessary flaws:
1) Sniper takes out Irv right after his "I don't deserve to live" confession (emotionally convenient timing). Part of the trap is that the Winchester's want to get the other hunters out alive, so killing him as opposed to say, kneecapping him, is working against the…
This is their new business model. There's no significant money or growth opportunity in comics, except as an idea generator for film/TV plots.
There's a cohort of people who seem to dislike it for the sake of proving how smug they can be, or because it didn't instantly fulfill all their fanboy dreams.
Finally a cure for Sam whininess, Angelic strength Prozac.
Just to fanwank a little, the more powerful the entity, the more picky they have to be about meat suits.
Lucifer worked really hard just to get a specific temporary meat suit before Sam.
Perhaps, although Masters is presented as a very precise thinker who chooses his words carefully. For every researcher who uses jargon sloppily I submit there is another who nitpicks such sloppiness (try using "exponentially" as a generic intensifier in front of a physicist or mathematician some time), and Masters…
Fair enough, Sturgeon's Law and all that.
Though I'd argue against the Wire as a procedural. To me, strictly episodic is baked into the procedural form (that's one of the things I don't like about it, and one of the things syndicators and producers love about it). If you disagree with that definition then "episodic…
All great reasons for someone who's not a fugitive to teach someone else English. Priorities, people.
Yes, what kind of sanctuary did Brody think he would end up in? What did he think his life would be like from now on?
Until he went to mosque and put his protectors in danger, he had a relatively decent place to live — shelter, regular meals, anonymity, even a call to prayer in earshot if that's important to him.
Contr…
Still, what was the point of Brody teaching her English. He should have been crash coursing Spanish, especially if he's thinking of going out on his own. I have to think it was for the sake of the audience, unfortunately.
They were careful to film it as consensual, (with the frisson of initial resistance that so many seem to think heightens the drama of such things). But in the way it was staged, and the way the characters interacted, it really should have been filmed as rape. There was nothing to suggest Daughter was or would have…
Because most procedurals suck?
The medieval theologians that cooked up most of these didn't know about the Grand Canyon, otherwise, they might have included it. :-)
Yahweh can be kind of a dick about some things. Even righteous people who touch the Ark or look upon forbidden mysteries are going to get some punishment. That was good advice on Indy's part. On the other hand the angels do release Indy and Marion from their bonds.
