Right! Which is why it's so weird that there's someone in these comments excoriating Jerry for wanting to put Rick in a home in the pilot. Rick was, at that point, destroying Morty's life. Jerry wanted that shit to stop. And 2+ seasons in, we can see that Jerry was 100% correct.

Out of the fact that Rick is a destructive maniac, and needs to stay the fuck away from his son.

That she would choose the guy who's always been right and always been looking out for her, over the man who abandoned her multiple times and only cares about people as far as he can use them?

Eh, depends who's paying them off.

I refuse to download that shit. Even though FB made it so you can't read your messages on the mobile site, I still just point my phone to the desktop site to read my messages.

Apparently their chicken is delicious.

And it's even more infuriating that people (even in this very thread!) will blame "both sides."

Are moms still concerned about whether their children die in clean underwear? Or have they come around to the idea that putting on a clean pair of underwear every morning is just sound advice no matter if you're going to die tragically or not?

I always thought Boston fans took a little too much pleasure in booing him. Like, yeah, he was a pest (like our own Brad Marchand), but there's just something about him that might make Bostonians lose their damn minds. Can't put my finger on it.

Like LeBron James, Ronaldo is the kind of sports figure I absolutely hate on the field (or court, as it were) of play, and I want to think of him as a world-class shithead in general.

I liked the future where "robots taking our jobs" was considered ideal. Of course, that future required the people who owned/created the robots to share the benefits of automated production. So there was no way that could ever happen.

And then the murders began.

Harambe.

"That was really stupid and wrong for me to wear that for one half-hour in my life. What nobody brings up is in 2000, when I was in Jekyll & Hyde, and at an auction for Broadway Cares, I donated $12,000 of my own money to fight AIDS."

This is a good point - Mon-El's life set him up to be a spoiled prick, so how was he supposed to be different?

Dumbasses will just be left behind a little more than before.

How about the fact that the states who would never, ever vote for Democrats are the ones who get the most federal money?

There is a community of poker chip aficionados to which a friend of mine belongs. They occasionally have meet-ups to actually play poker and drool over pretty chips. A few years back my friend started to bring me to these meet-ups, and it's just the nicest bunch of guys in the world.

I feel that I can never catch up on those shows anymore because of all the cameos, crossovers and what not and have to consult complicated watch orders.

That track is killer. Her voice sounds better now than it did 20 years ago.
