Did a double feature at my local indie theater on Friday night. Saw both Moonlight followed by The Handmaiden, liked the former way more than the latter.

It feels like no one is watching or talking about Pitch. I am so into this show and need it to be renewed. Tomorrow is the penultimate episode and the finale is next week. Mike and Ginny may or may not make out so I have no chill and am counting down the hours until the episode airs.

Saw American Honey on Friday night at my local indie theater. Had a semi-frustrating movie going experience with an older couple who wouldn't shut up. You don't talk during an Andrea Arnold film! It was really lovely, maybe 20 minutes too long. It just utterly consumes you into that world completely.

The West Wing. It finished its TV run right before I really got into TV. I ended up binging it while I had mono right before my senior year of high school so around 2009. It was a great show to watch in the early time of Obama though.

I just can't believe the winner's first name is Savvy.

Took a trip to my local indie theater to see two films - Les Innocents and Hunt for the Wilderpeople .

Have you seen the film yet? It is one of the better book to movie adaptions and Rosamund Pike embodies Amy and Ben Affleck (who I don't like all that much) is so good as Nick.

It is. But they combined the Movie/Miniseries Best Actor category so he is in tough competition with People vs OJ and a lot more. I am hoping he gets nominated. I really liked his speech at the Globes and want him more on my TV.

I can't believe Tebow is speaking. He was rumored to be running for an elected position here in Florida. I definitely see that happening in the next couple of years. I liked him as a quarterback but his politics make me angry.

Thanks for reminding me to catch up on Rectify. I started to watch it awhile ago and really enjoyed it but stopped for some reason. I think it got a little too depressing for me. I am in the middle of S2 according to Netflix and plan to jump back into it. It doesn't look they have announced a premiere date so that

I really enjoy parts of ABC's comedy lineup including Black-ish and Fresh Off The Boat. They have really come into their own.

Watched In The Bedroom on Amazon Prime last night. I had never heard of the movie before, it had a bunch of Oscar nominations though, including Best Picture. I kind of Googled the ending before it happened because I am the worst. Todd Field is a really precise director and the performances really show. It took an

As much as I would love to see Lupita win a Tony this early in her career I fear that the Tony voters will go for Jessica Lange. I do wish the Eclipsed ladies could win in the Featured Actress category as I found their performances absolutely phenomenal.

Before Sunset, without a doubt.

I am so confused about why WOT is posted right now.

We Need to Talk About Kevin is on my 'I will only ever watch once' list.

Reminder: Elementary moves to Sundays this week airing at 10PM after The Good Wife.

I am an episode behind but Elementary is still on Thursdays and reviewed here right?

Did a lot of Oscars catchup this weekend. Went to see Son of Saul on Friday night, which I liked until the end. I need to think on it a bit more. Loved the cinematography, the closeness.

Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova winning for their song from Once, ''Falling Slowly.'' Such a genuine win and so heartfelt. Especially with host Jon Stewart bringing out Marketa again to give her thank yous.
