I don't know how much longer I can keep watching this show. I am getting frustrated each and every week by how the storylines are turning out. I don't see why half the characters need to exist. I don't care about the kids at all. Come on Masters of Sex, convince me to keep watching.

Brie Larson is phenomenal. It sounds like she is doing well with Room too as it premiered at Telluride this weekend. I don't think I could watch Short Term 12 again however, way too devastating of a movie.

For my film classes we watched a couple movies this week so here we go.

Semester started this week. Taking a couple of film classes including American Film in the 1950s/1960s, American Film Survey, Analyzing Films, and Screenwriting Workshop. This first week we watched Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and Rear Window. This upcoming week we will watch Citizen Kane and Modern Times. My 1950s/1960s

I haven't really done anything pop culture related this weekend. I have been feeling ill with some sort of cold/lady problems so it has been a lot of lying in bed/sleeping. I did however decided to pick up Harry Potter and Sorcerer's Stone for the first time in ages. I have a couple copies of the book lying around and

I have been watching The Honourable Woman and I think I am in the same spot as you. I am not really getting into and am giving it another couple episodes before I bail on the series completely. I really wanted to watch to judge the series as a whole/Maggie Gyllenhaal's performance for the Emmys.

I am so relieved that tonight's episode was actually good. I have not been happy with how this season has been progressing but I am relieved that the show looks like it is stepping up and gaining momentum.

I really liked parts of the second series of Broadchurch, everything surrounding the trial but I am interested in that part of the law/courtroom dramas. But I am hoping it is able to turn itself around for the next series.

Just finished the first season last night and I am really mad that I didn't jump on this bandwagon earlier. What an innovative, well thought out character driven drama. I am really excited to start season 2 this week. I doubt I will be able to catch up before the season finale airs this week but I will try my hardest.

I just watched both seasons of BoJack Horseman last week. Such a fantastic show. Make sure to catch the Christmas Special because Netflix doesn't automatically recommend it or even say it exists.

I say In Cold Blood. Read it in high school and absolutely speed through it. Make sure to watch Capote afterwards if you haven't seen it. Phillip Seymour Hoffman is fantastic in it (it is of course where he won his Academy Award).

What a great movie, honestly. I used to be obsessed with it. The songs are incredibly catchy.

A third season has been confirmed by the BBC with both Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan returning. I guess they will do a trial? I don't know but I do trust them.

I was frustrated by the ending of The Fall. I don't know if I am completely okay with it but at least we will be getting another season, not until 2016 it looks like.

I have had The Girl on the Train on my bedside table for weeks. I started it awhile ago but I couldn't get past it. I have heard good things and want to jump back into it but the narrator just depresses me.

I watched both seasons and just watched the Christmas special last night. I didn't expect to love it but I really did. I just have a lot of questions on a world where humans and animals coexist.

I urge you to watch The Americans immediately but I tell that to everyone.

Well that recent article on him probably added a bunch of people to the Miles Teller hate.

According to IMDb, Janeane Garofalo has been quite busy since The West Wing. I really loved her character not only in Wet Hot but also West Wing. She is a pretty great actress but I don't think she is ever utilized well.

Mentioning Outlander I am reminded that I still haven't watched the last 2 episodes. I can't stand Gabaldon's crazy mind with regard to rape. Anytime she talks about being incredibly excited to see her characters raped I just cringe. I know that the books were on a super sale recently on Amazon but doesn't look like
