I have 3 whole weeks off before my semester begins so I am watching all the TV/movies.

I really liked Kingsman except for the ending with the princess. Hated it. But overall it was a really fun film to watch.

Besides binging on WHAS I didn't really do anything else this weekend pop culture wise. No good movies out within my driving distance. I wish that the little indie theater I like wasn't downtown. I am an incredibly poor college student who just can't afford the gas money right now.

Because it is based on real people? A lot of what happened between Masters and Johnson regarding their book, relationship work, is all very true but beyond that they are making it up I think the producers have said that they are completely fictionalizing the kids for the sake of television.

Ugh. I will be so sad if the show goes to shit like every other Showtime show.

His question really sold me on his punchability. Like it is unique question but really? Also the fact that he doesn't have a concrete theory kind of solidifies the whole situation.

Anytime I think about A Single Man I just lament that Colin Firth won an Oscar for The King Speech and not his spectacular performance in A Single Man.

I watched Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Them when it came to my local theater. I have had Him and Her in my Netflix queue but just haven't got the motivation to watch them. But Jessica Chastain really hits it out of the park.

I watched Pride and was surprised how much I loved it. I had no idea about the history behind it. I thought it worked well within 2 hour span.

I have been wanting to read Far From The Madding Crowd after seeing the movie. I haven't read anything from Hardy though. But Bathsheba.

Just started watching Transparent on Amazon after having a wonderful experience with Catastrophe last weekend. I am really loving this series, I love all the siblings even though they are all horrible human beings. I am incredibly attracted to Jay Duplass, oh man oh man. But I hate the Amazon player with a passion.

I don't know how she continues to be a successful author with all of the plagiarism issues she has had in the past.

Oh the fact that people take Cassandra Claire seriously. You think publishers wouldn't notice the articles people have written on her plagiarism issues.

If you go on YouTube you will find a lot of women in their mid to late 20s and early 30s who are obsessed with YA literature. They make a lot of money off it too, teaming up with publishers, etc.

I accidentally binge watched all 6 episode tonight and I hate myself. I thought there were more episodes but then I remembered it was made for UK television. Damn you 6 episode seasons.

I really want to read something by Adichie. I have loved listening to her TED Talks and I have read some of her writing. I think Americanah is at the top of my reading list now.

I am really sad to hear it is moving to FXX. Incredibly disappointing, FX has been a weird innovator lately but moving YTW to FX is just sad. No one watches it now so why isolate it more?

I am amazed by his output, he scored Jurassic World, Inside Out, and Tomorrowland. 2/3 hits aren't too bad.

Went to see Inside Out on Friday night with my dad. Of course I cried my eyes out. Such a interesting concept, the idea that our emotions control us. Michael Giacchino's score was so beautiful, so many great moments highlighted by the score. I hope to see it break into the Best Picture race, like Up.

I watched this a coupe of week ago (it has been online for ages). I had no idea who Fabrice Luchini was going in but after watching this I became a big fan. He played every moment well - the comedic and the dramatic. It works for him really well especially in this film.
