Jesse was also present (with Walt) in the scene where Mike makes her call Hank. She's definitely aware that Jesse is/was the third party in Mike and Walt's arrangement.

I thought Psycho II was great. I stil do. At first I thought it was just a pleasant surprise that it wasn't horrible but rewatching it proved for me that it was a genuinely good film with some ambition and interesting ideas. And Perkins remains fantastic.
I can back up @avclub-b5af0324c7abe943994b4aae5d5eafbd:disqus 's point that the action sequences in this in no way match up to the original's. There's not one memorable fight sequence. There should be three - the first (where Hit-Girl first lets loose which should be a huge crowd-pleaser) is ruined by the…
Until the finale she was one of the redeeming features about Dark Shadows.
We don't need another hero.
The internet long ago forget that 'disappointing' doesn't automatically equate to 'absolute shit'. The Lost finale and Prometheus are both disappointing. Neither are absolute shit. Both have something to recommend them (on a technical level Prometheus is fucking stunning) even if they have flaws, some which stand out…
To counter the pedantry with further pedantry, it would ruin the joke if Sideshow Bob was shown fooling an group of educated people who had a solid grasp of German grammar. Instead he's fooling a jury of regular folk who would happily accept that 'die' is a German word for 'the', regardless of pronoun considerations.
I believe she wasn't available due to Nikita. I'm glad they managed to get her for an appearance and give a reason for her absence, throwaway as it was, than just gloss over it.
Agreed. In no way is this better than the original. On technical, character, pathos, plot, editing, choreography and soundtrack levels the first is superior. Even if you're not a fan of it I find it hard to believe you could watch the second and feel that it was 'better' on any of those levels.
"Are you mad at me?"
I just gave you like number 18. 82 more people do the same and you're looking at a deliciously ironic joke.
That's what I thought but, credit to Heller, he makes good points about how it can be used and the theories behind what it can achieve - for instance, Felt's style seems entirely appropriate in that she's honest with her readers about her voice being intergrated into the story, whereas Ricca's seems to be aiming for…
The day Lena Dunham casts Laura Dern as her Enlightened character to cameo in Girls at a Dawes-hosted warehouse party, we're all fucked. We'll have For Your Considerations coming out of our arses.
Sound off? No way, not with Newton Howard's score. It's beautiful and haunting.
Agreed. Tom Hanks' performance is worth keeping The Ladykillers for. It's hammy as hell but deliberately so and it's great to see him do a comedy once in a while.
Attack Mull of Kintyre all you want, but 6 year old Nibbler says leave The Frog Song alone!
I'll throw his stand-up shows in their too. Each one takes a step-down in terms of quality but both Animals and Politics are classics and Fame is pretty damn good. I know some people hate Science and it's certainly no where near as good as his first two but it's got a few good routines in.
The ending knocked me for six as well. I thought the whole episode was great but I certainly wasn't expecting another Fryrish/Bark ending (though this one more of the former, with it being bittersweet sadness rather than devastating heartbreak).
Jeses Christ. The Newswire story above is hard enough to read but that one just broke my heart. And I thought Up was done with ways of making me unbearably sad.
It's literally a case of 'first one's free'!
