My eyes are just a little sweaty today.

Super Hans had the right attitude in Peep Show.

The episode of Pingu where Pingu gets drunk and comes home and pisses all over the place. A baby penguin pisses into a teacup as well, but it's less graphic.

@avclub-dfafbe21da3d54cf4d22bcd8ad8cf877:disqus  - Of all the A.V. Club tagline posts, that may be the most fitting I've ever seen.

That's what i took it to be as well, especially with them sporting Starfleet shirts at that point.

Same here. Dahl was my favourite author as a child and still ranks right up there as an adult and I love revisiting his work. And The Witches is my absolute favourite, I have framed Quentin Blake prints of its cover and Matilda's on my living room wall.

Danny, the Champion of the World also gave us The BFG so it has that going in its favour.

Same here (that's the one where he has x-ray vision and sees through cards, isn't it? I remember the twist as well). Though I was probably a bit too young for it when I read it, I picked it up when I was 8 or 9 and probably found the more mature tone a bit jarring.

Get me the Becktionary!

I completely agree - for me, the focus being off Fry so much is one of the faults of the new series.

The Honking, yes. The penguin one, no.

I'd disagree with Jurassic Bark - it's fairly standalone, just a simple tale of Fry and his dog. The emotional beats come from the episode's own events rather than any prior knowledge.

Same here, at least at first (and, to be honest, I still don't think they should have brought Seymour back at all). Then I justified it as an alternative universe. What happened in Jurassic Bark still happened and Bender's Big Score doesn't change it. The loyalty and sacrifice on display at the end of Jurassic Bark

Who'd have thought before season 4 'aired' we'd be tagging Michael Bluth as a loathsome character without debating it?

Don't forget pages 1 - 3 of the Plot Points section will be simple comments along the lines of "Oh shit!", "Fuuuuuuuck!, "Damn!" and so on before we start to form any discussion.

Being one of the seemingly few people on this site who likes Homeland, myself and the fiancee are looking forward very much to the evening where we get to watch Homeland premiere -> Bob's Burgers premiere -> Breaking Bad finale.

Well, I believe in Pacific Rim they looked at the Kaiju threat, gathered up all the coins, washers, nuts, bolts, screws and whatever little pieces of metal they could think of that was galvanized or solid zinc - as well as a few brake pads - and built themselves… a robot?

Yes. It's very good. It looks like it was filmed using natural light, that light be very low wattage energy-saving bulbs, but that doesn't really matter when it's funny. And it is very funny.
