Is it crappy? I keep being told it's good but not enough times for those opinions to penetrate my "Nah, it's probably crappy" barrier.

Up until this there were absolutely enough episodes. This news ruins it.

I absolutely loved it at the time - I would have been about 14 - and enjoyed it again on DVD a few years ago. However a couple of years ago I went back to it and it just didn't grab me in the same way so I never got further than a couple of episodes. Probably safer rather then let something I believe to be great turn

Also, heart.

Isn't it usually us?

But that still leaves two episodes with a hollow centre!

What's with The A.V. Club today? With this and the sconn nonsense above the boards seem to be full of more tit for tat whining and argument-picking than usual.

C+

I'm certain that 24 has ended an episode mid-gunfight a couple of times.

We also had at least three "Better Call Saul"s including a rare one from the man himself.

That logic is what I'm pinning all my hopes to.

I recorded a good few soundbites from Gremlins 2 at one point. It was the only way to get an audio recording of their New York, New York cover.

Even though the finale of The X-Files turned out to be utter horseshit I'm glad the final 'Monster of the Week' episode turned out to be a good one (and, with it being something that could be finally proven, a thematically perfect one to end on as well)

I was looking forward to bidding goodbye to The Crushinator.

I once ate a guinea pig but that's where the similarities between myself and real Nibbler end.

I agree - I finally saw Lone Ranger the other week and he was pretty good in the role. Given a better film (though I still found myself enjoying it much more than I thought I would) and he could have been great.

To2ro?

"You're not gonna believe this. He killed sixteen Czechoslovakians. Guy was an interior decorator."

I simply know it as 'The show that has its adverts attached to the end of Twilight Zone episodes on my blu-rays". That's not a complaint, the fact that the TZ blu-rays keep the vintage episode tags is a wonderful thing.

Brave may "only" have turned out to an OK/pretty good Pixar film but Ratatouille turned out to be a mini-masterpiece and one of their best. So although it's a shame to hear these are bumps in a Pixar production (especially an original one) I'm not worried about the finished result.
