And, in this season, Maebe's acceptance speech.

Agreed with both. Rasjkub's character could have been awful but she's great with that sulky, soured expression that she sold the hell out of it. So much so that I was disappointed that she didn't pop up again later in the season.
Though not as disappointed as I was I realised there was NO FRANKLIN! I would have killed

Same! I loved his dry 'and before you try rewinding and end up back halfway through the Maebe episode, let me clear it up for you' line in Buster's episode.

That'd be a low blow from Loblaw.

One of my favourite lines of the whole season thanks to the Lucille/Tobias history. I never really bought her role in his musical (as amusing as it could be) but the whole thing was worth it for that perfectly withering moment.

Agreed. I watched them over two days and, at the halfway mark, was already bemoaning how another Lindsey episode meant waiting for a Lucille or Buster episode. Times that by weeks rather than hours and I could see fans getting really frustrated and laying into the weaker episodes much harder than they deserved.

I think they assume people will want to marathon them and are giving them the choice. I'm surprised they didn't stick them up on Friday to allow for the whole weekend.

The trouble is that, although the actor who plays Han can get away with looking enough like he did in 2006 (and Diesel too, for that matter), the same now can't be said for Lucas Black. I can't see how they could cut from the shot of him at the end of the car in Tokyo Drift to an extended version of the scene where

He's also great in Saving Private Ryan, for the small role he had.

She does well in the film and has a fight scene that's one of the movie's highlights.

I don't know if it's entirely accurate to say it takes place between 6 and 7 because… well, just don't get up as soon as the first credit pops up at the end. The final scene is very satisfying and will leave fans of the series salivating for the next one.

And most of the time the UK audiences understand this, or are at least too polite and reserved to bother with applause.

If you want us to pay attention then nothing less than the Royal Mail will do.

I didn't expect it and the scene really did hit me hard in the emotions. Ellie Kemper has made Erin one of the greatest and consistently wonderful parts of the show and to see her get a happy ending in a brilliantly in-character moment (perfectly sold by Kemper) made my eyes well up like nothing else The Office has

I don't mind that they re-used that moment - it wasn't earned as an amotional moment but I enjoyed it as a winking reference. But Quinto has such a weedy shouting voice that it ruins it. His voice breaks almost immediately. Could they not do a second take? Or ADR? If you're going to do that moment then bellow it, son.

I spotted Iannucci last week and pointed him out to my friend as 'the man who wrote The Thick of It!'. She wasn't overly impressed until, a couple of moments later, it clicked, her entire face lit up and she blurted out with pure reverence "Did he write 'Eff-star-star-cunt?". That impressed her.

Well, apart from being asked not to (and, although we didn't sign anything, I'm still thankful enough to have found myself there to go against that request), I'm also not brave enough to be the first one on The AV Club to call the quality of new Arrested Development episodes.

Big ol' humblebrag here but I was very, very, very lucky enough to get tickets to the UK premiere of Arrested Development last Thursday in London. We watched episodes 1 and 4 with David Cross, Tony Hale, Michael Cera, Jeffrey Tambor and Alia Shawkat all in attendence. As a massive Arrested Development fan who just

To be fair,I don't think that applies to this one @avclub-33807fbc68d335db8080d3c10cb78822:disqus  which isn't even really a prequel - just a  tease. There's nothing in there that's missing from the show, simply a couple of monologues basically saying "Next week there's an episode where I find out some shit and it

Even though I prefer the tweed look I agree with this.
