Surely this deserves an A simply for making a joke about a shit storm regarding the Chief Whip - and filming it months before the actual and very current shit storm regarding the Chief Whip.

Agreed. My hopes of it turning up on the list died after it didn't crack 50 - 31 but it still deserved a spot. Some people may look down on it for spawning the CGI blockbuster age but they forget how many other elements went in to making the film as brilliantly entertaining as it is.

I doubt she'll come back - Karen Gillan seems to feel the same way as these comments, that a reuinion would lessen the impact and legacy of the departure. She's said from the time she announced she was leaving that she was hoping for a permanent ending. I'll miss her and I'll miss Amy Pond but I hope that sticks.

From the Moffat/Smith era, yes.

The fact that it was a paralell timeline suggests that she's not dead. River even covered it at the end of the episode with Amy - that what happened in that timeline didn't actually happen in this one and was erased/fixed, though Amy was still distraught that she could do such a thing.

I wanted it to turn out that the episode's narration was from Susan.

I've heard that back-and-forth so many times thanks to the looping DVD menu. Never gets old.

One of the lines I laughed hardest at, which confused my girlfriend who had no idea a joke had been made.

Speaking of his OBE (though I'm sure most of you have seen it before) - Iannucci Vs Campbell:
