Italizing 'so wrong' instantly makes me hear it in Noomi Rapace's voice from the Prometheus trailer.

I disagree - the footage in this looks as awesome as you'd expect but, as a trailer, it's a bit rubbish. It has no structure or pace, nor does it give any real indication of story and not in a good 'it keeps the mystery for the film!' way.

Troy, Van Helsing, The Day After Tomorrow… And that was just the first month.

Agreed on both counts, especially the score.

It also shit all over Arnie and Uma's careers. It didn't help that Uma did The Avengers afterwards but she didn't get another success until Kill Bill and it seemed to mark the end of Arnie's mass popularity and reduced him to shit like End of Days and The Sixth Day.

No way - it's definitely Sally. I've harboured a crush for her since the Imelda Staunton sitcom Is It Legal.

Did you get a chance to pop a fag in your mouth?

We do but they're only to be used by the little urchins to get up the chimneys and sweep the top bit properly.

So a week and five-or-six hours earlier? Even better!

Definitely watch it in a theatre. It's one of the most fun and funniest blockbusters in recent memory. It deserves not only the big screen but also an enthusiastic crowd - I saw it in a sold out show and the whole crowd reacting together at the big moments really added to it.

I don't think many people have clocked that we (in the UK at least) also get Prometheus a week earlier than the States, which is even more awesome.

But not *enough* of the team.

I agree. I love Community, I really do, but sometimes it's OK for it to "just" be a comedy. The past few episodes have tried too hard to do big, emotional character episodes. Which is fine and I like them for what they are but they felt weak to me.

Great news!

Nymphomaniac 2: The New Snatch

"Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is the only obvious time in the entire series where two episodes occurred in succession of one another."

I've seen it and, whilst it's not quite up there with W&G (but then what is?) it's still a very funny, very charming and very enjoyable film. I know it's a cliche to say 'And it had jokes for the adults too!' but this one really did do a brilliant job of balancing the clever and cheeky adult jokes with the family fun

One of the biggest drawbacks in mass communication. Sure, it's great that people are given a voice. But with it should come the understanding that having a voice isn't the same as having to use that voice all the goddamn time, regardless of context, subject or (especially) knowledge or lack thereof.

"There is a moment of sheer panic when I realize that Tyrion's apartment overlooks the courtyard… and is obviously more expensive than mine"

So, taking from the article's opening on seeing R.E.M. live - if the band had announced one final farewell tour and you'd have gone, what would you like as the final song of the set, the one the band closed of their live (and entire) career with?
