Drive is an incredible song. Without a doubt my favourite R.E.M. song and one of my favourite songs of all time by anyone.

Anyone have any idea how Netflix handles these shows abroad? Did that one starring Silvio from the Sopranos make it over to the UK service?

I'm not saying we shouldn't have a fourth season and more past that point if the quality and demand is there. But surely the story was completed and everything wrapped up at the end of season 3? It was rushed (well, the Exit Strategy episode seemed to be, Development Arrested was perfect) but it resolved pretty much

I think they get around it by excluding any definition of what it is - the context it was said in sounded like random gibberish from a child unless you knew what it referred too.

I'd make some mocking comment on what a brilliant film career he's got to fall back on but who am I kidding? He's made millions from this show and gets to go home to Emily Blunt. Any mockery would be pure jealousy.

Exactly. This and the pining for the the romantic couple at the centre of the show makes me think the writer hasn't watched the show since season 2.

I know at least one guy who's married but never wears his ring. He just doesn't like it, it's nothing to do with a lack of commitment. So it may be rare but it happens.

It's like rain on your wedding day. It's a free ride when you've already paid.

Isn't that what he means? Season 5 will have two parts. It's not now being made into seasons 5 and 6.

Wackd's not on board.

First, pop pop!

It's still the same process though, just one done with a sensibility in sync with the original source's intentions. But choosing what does/doesn't work in a film compared to a novel is still a consideration. Plus what the original writer likes about the books might not be what the readers take away from them so you're

"God, I hate it when the trailer-trailer gives away all the best bits of the trailer. What's the point in even seeing the trailer now?"

I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation

The world has changed so radically, and we're all running to catch up. I don't want to jump to any conclusions, but look - Madonna and contemporary music, two species separated by sixty-five million years of evolution have just been suddenly thrown back into the mix together. How can we possibly have the slightest

McHale was amazing tonight. I can see why some people weren't too keen on the wckiness of the Hulk joke but I thought it was hilarious and a lot of that came down to how McHale threw himself into the gag. He really sold it for me. He was on fire this whole episode. It's been too long since Jeff had his cocky swagger.

That's an unfair comparison though. The voiceover was integral to the noir pastiche, thought bubbles couldn't be an option.

Considering how shellshocked she was though I'm not surprised it would have taken her that long to accept that the world was worth bringing children into, and of course it would have been Peeta's nature that would have convinced her of this. He was always the optimistic (as much as anyone could have been in those

In some of the montage shots of the Capitol when they first arrive you see glimpses of some very weird people. One woman especially stuck out as being fucked-up-weird (a lot like a cat woman) and some clearly had minor oddities added to their face. A background detail for sure but it saves pushing it to the fore and

I'll give you Narnia which, Tilda Swinton aside, was a competent but cold adaptation (if the death of Aslan leaves you cold then your adaptation has gone very wrong) but Atonement? It was very cinematic. The use of editing and music, especially in the earlier parts (the typewriter sounds being intertwined with the
