It took this long for an Inspector Spacetime reference?
I know there was a regular on here who started ranting that anyone who liked the McGann film couldn't be a real fan… but I liked it. McGann was great, the TARDIS interior was brilliant. Was it flawed? Yes, and the flaws are big enough to drag it down (Eric Roberts, the gang culture plot points, McGann's initial "Who…
Isn't there a games console sat on top of their TV? At least in the old music video footage. It looks like a Sega Genesis (or a Mega Drive to us Brits)

My favourite one of these is Paulie trying to start up an enthusiastic conversation with the nonplussed hooker in Italy over their possible shared heritage.
I love the Eleventh Doctor version. Maybe it's just that I associate it with the 40 minutes of assured awesomeness that usually follows it but I think it's a great mix of the epic orchestra version and the traditional electronic weirdness. Though I agree that you can't beat the creepy, eerieness of the old versions.
Me too. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who bought their 2003(?) third album, Suburban Rock and Roll. I also have a signed bass guitar of theirs, proudly won from Radio One back in 1996.
Space, Cast, Kula Shaker… I'll concede I'm not playing this game well. Wait, Sleeper! They were a good one!
True and it's uncomfortable to see Tony as being that dumb. But I give The Sopranos a pass because we later find out the dog didn't die.

Same here - we didn't get it until October in the UK but I'd finished high school that summer so it struck a chord (even if we don't get all of that prom crap).
Fucking Disqus… What I was going for there was that Halloween is a time for using scares for good - the sort that lead to lots of close hugging under the duvet (as long as it's her doing the scared cuddling, otherwise it's a bit of a turn-off for her). Skin-crawling is the opposite reaction I'm aiming for.
Thanks, Wolfman. Halloween is a time for using scares to
Is Martyrs actually scary or is it just fucked up? I'm trying to find some genuinely scary films that neither myself or the GF have watched for Halloween and I keep thinking of that one but if it's just admirable gore then I'll leave it for another night.
Psycho II is so underrated. It never reaches the standard of the original - of course it doesn't - but it's got a very unsettling tone and Perkins is just as great in it as he was in the original, doing very different things with the character. I think the film benefits from being released years later but following…
Let me preface this by saying how much I've loved this season and that I in no way feel the show as a whole has dipped at all.
20 minutes of him being seen and not heard. I could watch that.

Cookie_Monster - I only watched it during the summer but even from my not-really-reading-about-it point of view I gathered that Fox just really liked Fringe and were giving it a season 4 as a goodwill gesture, in that it's doing well enough for them to justify it and they don't want to screw over the producers by…
