Where is Spermy Churchill?
Where is Spermy Churchill?
I was hoping for less Stones Historical Narrative, but the Street Fighting Man demonstration was freaking cool. I dig the new album and find the music to be wizened, rolling, and often uncomfortably honest. Keith is an absurdly good songwriter and to generalize his latest effort as merely units to be moved is…
I'm a huge fan of the Pamela/Louie relationship. I think it's wonderful and painful and difficult to see what happens when the transition from friends to lovers doesn't end in storybook fashion.
When will this……scourge…..of talented comedy writers making fun of people end?!?!? Enough is enough!!!!
I think this episode was, roughly, one million times better than the grade deemed appropriate by the AV Club.
Fuckin' funny.
Persona received an A-? What could possibly deserve an A?
I can't think of any more thrilling television experience than watching "Hannibal" with every light off. God, this show is so good.
Met…a…three…..ick…leee speaking? No, no….that's not right….
I'm kind of bummed that anyone would think this episode had shark jumping elements. That hackneyed phrase doesn't belong anywhere near this excellent show. It's one thing to dislike the direction The Good Wife is headed, but quite another to imply that it has insulted it's viewers by introducing poorly conceived,…
The way Marty says, "Good girl" to his daughter after she hands him the remote is brutally sad and kind of hilarious.
As a U.S. citizen who has been living in Squamish, BC for the past few years, I can say without reservation that the Winter Olympics coverage between the CBC, TSN, and SN absolutely crushes NBC's coverage. The Olympic Broadcasting "Consortium" is friggin' brilliant. (cbc.ca has virtually every event live, with no…
"…have always been Letterman's selling points." What an odd way of putting it. I would argue that they were actually the virtual opposite of "selling points" and that Letterman's "ironic distance" and "veiled contempt" were among the reasons he didn't get The Tonight Show. Obviously, they're also the reasons Leno won…
I thought Series 3 was fascinating and excellent and that this episode was the best of the three. I would like to say something witty and thought provoking about how I wish The AV Club had assigned a different reviewer to Sherlock, but everyone is entitled to their opinion and my ankle hurts for some reason.
USA!! USA!! USA!!!
The weakest episode of Series 3, it somehow improves after watching the subsequent, superior, episodes.
This is the greatest thing I've ever read. Ever. Thank you.
Oh the sweet duality! I'm already missing Smith but looking very much forward to Capaldi. It's as if emotional timelines have been crossed, or something. (A-)
I like this. Unabashedly, even.
Oh, yeah. Totally agree. I look forward to the next iteration.
