Worse than Alternative History of the German Invasion?

So apparently the next episode is a Rope homage. A Christmas themed Rope homage. Set in Dean Pelton's apartment.

It was Cornwallis from Alt History. It's actually in character for Cornwallis, but so awfully out of character for Annie it brought the episode down from a C to D+.

I gave it a D+ even though it was originally a D!

Absolutely hate Chinballs, but come on, Whithouse's Who work is really thematically rich and reflective. Sure it has flaws, but A Town Called Mercy is the high point of NS7 so far.
