Isn't Perry's ass supposed to be in jail by then?

What's the over/under on him cheating on her within five years?
A Cynic

I dreamed I wrote a dynamite episode of Star Trek TNG, but couldn't remember the details in the morning. Typical!

Discovering that switching to a veggie diet (not full vegetarian, God no) may be helping me lose weight, it's like my fat is being converted directly into farts.

Ear Infection. Not as bad as I've had before (weeping in the night, sound of rushing water) but not good. Already been to my GP, and going tomorrow to my otolaryngologist. I already have tubes in my ears, and the GP thinks one of them is pushing its way out.

I actually like Le Carre's post-Cold War stuff better.

I need to find my old Ross Thomas novels, particularly Missionary Stew. And if I could find some cheap Jonathan ("Lovejoy") Gash novels, so much the better. For a college town, this place needs more used bookstores.

Check out Charles Stross' The Laundry series for an equally batshit yet plausible look at Espionage.

The New Yorker magazine, of course, and the collection Black Wings of Cthulhu 2. Wasn't gonna buy it, but I'm a sucker for Big C.

He's the only guy in North Korea with fucking type 2 diabetes.

Except for the lack of movable type and the occasional plague, the Middle Ages were a lot better than people think.

I'm. . . not suicidal, exactly, but I'm not taking extraordinary measures to stay alive, either. I'm already looking at oblivion, and not from too far away, these days.

Fuck Inkmaster, give us more seasons of Venture Bros.!

Gawd, I loved this show the first time I netflixed it, have to do it again when I get some time off. Why can't Retro or Me-TV or fucking TVLand put this on Saturday afternoons or something?

Ow ow ow ow.

See, I'd actually prefer a Tim-Burton campiness to all this grit. It's not enjoyable for me, and I keep thinking of the kids watching this.

Huh, thought Robert Downey Jr was supposed to be Doc.

MISFITS OF SCIENCE LIBEL!

But 16% more Lovecraftian!

After leaving PeoplePC and NetZero, I'm like a battered child willing to accept anything short of outright abuse. So, Comcast, at least the online portion, has been good to me. Their fucking TV service, on the other hand? AAAARRRRGUUHH.
