I.e. I was agreeing with you, but maybe that didn't come through. I should probably go to sleep. I've been awake for 25 hours now.

No need to reply, I was just commenting on the author's assumption that we didn't like the dialogue because we wanted it to be more "Whedonesque". ;)

In other news, Joss Whedon isn't that great. The last thing I want is all my Star Wars characters sounding like interchangeable quip machines.

Yeah, somehow my mind didn't register the fact that this article wasn't posted just this minute and obviously there were already dozens of "that guy"s saying the same thing, but it's 2 p.m. here and I haven't slept since yesterday, cut me some slack.

Yeah, that moment is badass, and probably the reason why I prefer Episode I over II.

Yes. THE ONE WE'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR.

Attack of the Clones was seriously the worst. I'd honestly rather watch the Phantom Menace, even with Jar Jar.

I'm 35 and I had the exact same experience. I remember trying to just *understand* the decisions in that movie with my art class buddies: "So, basically every single problem in the plot was resolved by luck? Is that really what happened?"

What's wrong with your FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE

I really hate to be that guy, but no, sorry, they're just awful movies.

Aw hell naw

Jon Snow knows nothing. It is known.

That came off a bit assholish; had I thought before I typed, I would've referred to the attachment they have to said lines, instead of just the remembering part. Of course it's okay to memorize lines you like, it's not even something you do consciously (even though I have a lousy memory and it almost never happens to

Yeah, that hip bone could take somebody's eye out.

I get the impression that people who rembember several lines verbatim from theses books really need to start reading other books maybe?

People are already complaining that the show is boring and nothing happens. Imagine the number of viewers they would lose If they adapted those two books as faithfully as they did the others.

Also,

"It was his story against mine, but of course I told my story better."

I remember almost nothing of this movie, but I remember the MAD Magazine spoof, where they made sure to mention the rape-played-as-comedy bit.

Upvoted for thinking as I did.
