That Jabba scene fucks up the flow of the movie also. Star Wars is a tight tight movie where each moment is important and sets something up. That interlude is the defnition of useless.

Maybe they werent exactly possessed, but they might as well have been. The movie is about agents of God deciding who gets raptured and who doesn't. And they do that with a box with a button. Why? Because we live in big boxes, apparently, and when we die, they put us in a coffin, which is… wait for it… A BOX.
