Because we live in big boxes, apparently, and when we die, they put us in a coffin, which is… wait for it… A BOX.

The Box is retarded. There was nowhere for that story to go, even Richard Matheson knew that. Kelly uses the final twist in the Twilight Zone episode as a second act hook, and it goes WAY downhill from there. It's his usual apocalyptic nonsense, disguised as (bad) sci-fi.
