It's a joke the director is playing on the audience, not really an amazing scene… Like when Chris Carter pans the camera to a picture of George W. Bush in The X-Files: I Want to Believe and cues the theme music. It's like, "Fuck you pal! I know you're directing* a movie, but you don't have to be a dick about it…"
