What's the fan-official recommended viewing order? That particularly hiccup has always made me hesitate to return to the series.

So, "Crusade." I gave it a shot once (I forget which viewing order I tried) and gave up maybe 5-6 episodes in. Worth revisiting, or best left as an interesting asterisk?

If you press "B4" it's just Brent Spiner screaming for 45 minutes.

Thank you, Rowan. These reviews have been the brightest star in my sky. Even though I don't comment as often as I'd like, I really appreciate the level of insight and discussion brought to the show by you & the commentariat. I teared up reading this. I… I have to go.

I was hopped up on painkillers when I watched "Legend" and even then I thought it was embarrassing. "River of Souls" felt positively thrilling after that shitshow.

The buildup to that final sequence was superbly done.

Agreed, I was also really surprised at how bummed I felt after no new episode last week. This show really gets under your skin.

Yeah the only part of the episode I started getting upset during was when I thought Nora was gonna off herself.

We stand between the rope and the neck.

I'd argue that "Pegasus" and the extended cut of "Unfinished Business" are stronger. But you're right, it is a hell of an opener.

The Helo/Sharon stuff actually ends up turning out pretty good. Don't sweat it. It meanders a bit, but there's not a bad episode until the back half of season 2.

This is the correct opinion.

"The finale asks us to believe that somehow humans came to Earth, left it, and then came back again through millennia of time and space before spawning us. It’s just, a lot."

Don't knock it till you try it.

WE'RE SO SPOILED

Nope, they save the stupid stuff for PKW.

You must've gotten a bug bite.

I just recently watched season 4 and A Prefect Murder was perfectly enjoyable.

A couple of the multi-part episodes (particularly early on) are pretty muddy as well as what everyone else has said. But, a bad Farscape season is still pretty good, so it's a wash.

Wrinkles annoyed me at first, but she does add a kind of manic intensity to the early S4 episodes that helps propel you through them to get to the meat of the season.
