Probably my favorite moment this episode. I totally fist-pumped.

Mapleton is purgatory!

Yup. This was literally shown in an episode. Short memories much?

I read the entire review and thought, "wow, Sonia's Leftovers reviews are really improving!" and then hit the stray observations and just sighed, "Oh, of course."

Sad to see these reviews of the show go the way of the dodo, as I've slowly become fascinated with the world the show is meticulously building. It's not a thriller or anything but I'm continually impressed with how much I enjoy the meager portions of plot doled out episode by episode. If it does get cancelled, it'll

Oh, absolutely. But the quality of the character drama kept it afloat, so whenever I recommend it to new people I just tell them to stay invested in the characters and that some of the plots are just crazytown bananapants.

Shit, I've been spelling her name wrong for ten years.

They're on all the DVD editions as commentaries as well. They're very informative for the most part, a lot of quality insights into the writing and production of the show.

SyFy's insistence that season 3 be more individually episodic really hurt the dynamic of the show.

I kind of wish that New Caprica had lasted until a midseason finale. As it was, I enjoyed it, but it felt like it was too rushed and trying too hard to be "topical."

I'm one of the few, I think, that still loves the series as a whole, misguided mysticism and all. Also, Starbuck's final scene did not bother me. Bring on the pitchforks.
