For once I didn't mind them going back to Barney/Ted/Robin, but it would've been nice if it wasn't just thrown away with a bunch of jokes about the bro code. This is actually a topic that has some pretty serious weight to it, and I felt like the story didn't get the writing it deserved to finally "close" it up.

Everything you just said and more

I think my favorite moments of Eastbound and Down have always been when Kenny just lays waste to those around him, and you experience him succeeding in all his majesty. The takedown of Dontel Benjamin was fucking awesome.

Yeah, it was kind of a jerky episode. But I think the times when it was funny, it was reaaally funny. The Swanson story was a bit outrageous in my opinion, even for him. And I'm finding myself annoyed when shows like to use all the social network/media lingo. That episode with Tom and Twitter ban was a pretty terrible

I actually thought that was one of the more enjoyable episodes of The League in a while. The Pete/Andre scene dragged on entirely too long, but other than that, I love me some Ruxin-centric episodes.

For some strange reason, this was my favorite HIMYM episode in a very long time. Save for the somewhat rushed resolution of the Barney/Robin stuff, I thought the jokes were extremely clever. The Lily/Ted sit down was very well done, and I must say that I'm finding Lily far more tolerable as of late than she used to be

I think this might be the first episode where I thought the Marshall/Segel were just horrendous. Marshall has never been that much of an asshole. But I was almost ready to turn off the first episode I was that upset what they were doing with Segel.

Saying the show is cliche, but yet criticizing it's dark humor "shock" moments, which add a ton to the visual language and spontaneity of the show? He honestly lost me right when he mentioned "Weeds". It's like comparing "Spin City" to the "West Wing". They are both about politics, RIGHT???

Given the context of the song, that line was actually pretty awesome. It's pretty evident what he is implying with it given the 3 prior lines. And it's a pretty clever way to say it, in my opinion.

I know, I know, I can admit I'm wrong. I just think there was something entirely off about that entire scene and conversation. From the opening scene with Bob telling Pete to shut-up and have a drink, with the long camera shot on that, just to the timing of him coming onto Pete after the degenerate comment.

Someone remarked below that it's very plausible that Bob read the "degenerate" comment as some self-loathing, not directed hatred. May have just played his cards wrong.

I think the Bob Benson plot is getting even better and better. Do we know, as a 100% certainty, if he is gay or not? I wouldn't be surprised, like others have said, that all he's trying to do is get ahead at the firm. He'll do anything to do it. I don't think it's a coincidence that we see Don nearly sabotage a client

Yeah, "I Appear Missing" might be their masterpiece. The ebb and flow of that track is absurd. Favorite part on the album might be the silence, then right back into the loud guitars and drums.

I thought Shuman absolutely destroyed on this album. He's way higher in the mix than Nick ever was on QOTSA records save for his quick bass solos, and he really keeps a punishing tone throughout the album.

I'm unsure where you gather "uninspired" from. If anything, he himself has said that he was most inspired during the recording of this album, especially after he died on the operating table for a couple minutes. And just from listening to the music alone, he clearly was inspired, just inspired in a direction that I

I agree with most everything here, save for the grade (GRADE SNOB),a nd this notion that it doesn't feel like AD anymore. It is definitley too long, and I completely agree that one of the reasons AD always felt so sharp was the jokes they could put in a traditional 22min timeslot. But pretty much everything else is

Damnit, I was really hoping this year would be The Wire. I would gladly take the title of the official "The Wire" troll, since I think that show is generic, overrated, and also laughably conservative in its plot, and shouldn't even be in the same fucking ballpark as The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, and Mad Men.
Looking

This is easily one of my top 5 episodes of all time. The entire time I was watching, all I could think about was the classic concept/dream episodes of The Sopranos. It is no coincidence that Weiner has partial writing credits for this episode and was also responsible for "The Test Dream" and "Mayham" and "Kennedy and

As someone who came into The Office pretty late (only started watching around s5-s6 actually), I thought this finale was actually pretty damn good, and by far one of the better series finales I've seen. They took all the characters really to their extremes, and it was awesome to see that.

Yeah, it's just ridiculous how lazy they've become.
