Won't watch it if it is Kris Marshall. Awful hack, and gurning chimp, of an actor.

It's basically pronounced 'Shaan', with a slight deliberation/elongation in the middle so. Like Sean (Shaun) but with an 'i/a' rather than an 'o/u' vowel sound. I think.
In your opinion . . . .
It was a throwaway, but 'Crispin St. Chang' made me laugh
She was David's saviour as much as his love interest. She was what kept him human.
Cheers. Probably better to start afresh than be forced into a pale imitation. Don't know how they'll capture Haller without going into his daddy issues. Still, a fascinating character. Can't wait.
I'm not sure that there's anyway the show could be better than Spurrier's Legacy run, but hopefully it'll be a cool take on the character. Certainly great people involved.
Where have you read that they are changing everything? Is there a link/article available? I'd rather Haller was American than English, Why would he be posh English?
Not a bad shout. As an acting challenge, it's difficult to beat a character like Haller though.
As a young teen, sure. I just think that the Scottish literary tradition (e.g. Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde) plays into many of the themes that'll be involved. Am pretty sure he won't be doing an Israeli accent and English or American (more than likely) make even less sense. That's why I think they'll change his backstory…
Do you think Stephens will be playing him Scottish? Caledonian anti-syzygy feeds directly into Haller's identity crisis and mental health issues.
Huge Legion fan (esp. Spurrier's run on X-Men Legacy) but am not sure about Dan Stevens as Haller. Kevin Guthrie would have been better. Get the impression this could significantly depart from the comic book character.
It's like she just makes this shit up.
And then Keanu kicks the dog into touch. Awesome.
Just started ep 4. Getting better and better and reeling me in. It feels epic.
I know, it's sarcasm. That's why I also upvoted you.
Of course we're looking for Al, you imbecile!
Don't have my finger on, the pulse of my generation. Just got my hand on my heart, no, no better location.
Samira Wiley is lovely and I'll adore Poussey long after Stella has faded away.
Agreed. She is conventionaly beautiful with a counter-culture veneer ("Veneer!" *throws back drink*). I'm male hetero but like the tomboy look so find her stunning (as I do Poussey), but the gorgeous woman comes first, the vaguely masculine vibe second.
