Gassy? Is it gas? It's gas, isn't it?

Gassy? Is it gas? It's gas, isn't it?

What the hell is "Community"? Some kind of show?

Yeah, I was going to say this exactly. He's really good at guiding other people to hilarity, which is in many ways just as difficult as actually being hilarious. He is also occasionally really funny, but that's not the goal most of the time.

I don't understand how it's like 9 minutes long and they barely touch on the actual topic. I think actual discussions of race/racism can be pretty interesting or could be really funny, depending on which route you want to take. But this just seems like people killing time.

Yeah, but even the good seasons have shitty finales.

Also, "Mac is a repressed homosexual" goes from nonexistent (as far as I can remember) to somewhat subtle to over-the-top. In a funny way, although not as funny as "Dennis is a serial killer".

I've been watching it on Science channel. They pretty much plowed through Season 1 as a weekend marathon, then switched to 3 episodes a week from there. Right now, it's right at the beginning of Season 3. It was definitely helpful knowing that it got better and less MOTW-focused as it progressed. Really looking

I believe they're called straw-womyn.

I assume you're just going by the name of the team. Otherwise it's a TV show set in East Rutherford, NJ against a TV show set in Foxborough, MA.

Mona.

I think that people at her social class/intelligence level stress Sabrina out. She pretty clearly has some issues with anxiety and insecurity, and Jimmy et al allow her to be her weird self with no judgment. I can understand the appeal of that.

I believe it's because he had 12 kids with like 8 or 9 different women. So he had to go back in time to kill their baby mamas.

I hope they do that thing with screenplays where they show like a page of the script, because good luck finding a page of Django wtihout 20 racial slurs.

I think that's his acting style, because I have that problem in every movie I see him in. Which, off the top of my head, is this, 16 Blocks, and an episode of House. Although he wasn't like that in Bamboozled or Chappelle's Show, I don't think.

In high school, we'd go to Fuddruckers probably every couple weeks. Get a shake and a burger, and then compete to see who didn't get diarrhea. We all lost every time.

Exactly. This movie looks super shitty, but the review didn't affect my desire to see it in any direction, just because I realized in reading it that Rabin was the reviewer and that there's no chance he would like this kind of movie.

Please don't. Just… don't.

Yeah, I see my cousin (a tween girl) basically twice a year. Christmas 2011, she was all about the Bieber. Then, at Christmas 2012, I'm like "How's your boy Justin Biebs?" and she gets all indignant and says she's in love with Channing Tatum now. I assume in 11 months she'll be super into Dustin Hoffman or something.

You'd think she would have accidentally thrown her trash away a few streets over, though, huh?
