The other day the Trumper hosted a womens history and empowerment speech from the main room of the White House. I think he assumed that by "empowerment" that by fondling women you can get a power surge to produce clean energy for all sorts of needs.

Johnny Weir is strangely charming. I love his positive attitude when he calls events.

At least MLB and the World Baseball Classic are getting things right. That event had its best ratings/attendance/merch sales totals ever this month! And you can definitely feel the fun that the players are having.

I'll be interested in seeing which NHL players defect from their teams for the Olympics. Apparently the NHL is going along with the belief that they won't have their players in the Olympics this year…a win for the owners and a big loss for the players.

Yes. I saw them play As Good As Dead with the original drummer last year at one of their shows.

The state senator who wrote the bill ran for attorney general and he lost too. Albeit barely but still.

I always thought when I was younger that Steely Dan was a man who ran his own group. I was surprised to see where the name really came from.

Papa Roach might be the best example of a band with two hits that are totally opposite of each other from a lyrical standpoint (Last Resort and Lifeline).

The Sabre drove a tank for much of 2014 and 2015. It didn't work though.

The divide between sports and nerd culture is not as big as you'd think. Star Wars Nights have been immensely popular in the sports world lately. I was at last year's Durham Bulls Star Wars Night and there were at least 10k people there. That's massive for a minor league ball team! Sports teams are having lots of

The Capital: The most powerful being in the world for at least six months. Then it goes to shit.

I went to the 2011 NHL All-Star Game in Raleigh and they had something during the second intermission where they had a light and video show featuring these "superheroes" doing things. It was stupid as hell. Needless to say, the Guardians merchandise at the arena was not selling at all and the audience reaction was

The "vomiting face" emoji is dead on.
