The good news about society today is that no affiliates are going to be up in arms over someone coming out. Remember when Ellen came out and a few Bible Belt stations refused to air that episode?

We all knew that! This episode is one of those pleas for ratings. It's not like when we found out Patty was gay, that was a legit surprise (although it required a bit of thinking to connect the dots)

All I'm gonna say is that I really hope Harry Shearer got a massive raise to come back.
