This is kind of a douchey post, but I do find it really strange that they pulled an episode and replaced it with such a gorey and disturbing episode of television. This may be the first time gore has really affected me on a network show since The X-files ended.

I kind of think it was meant to be ambiguous: did Will's get in the killer's head more than he realized, or did he actually see a ghost/angel of some sort? That POV shot was a bit of a cheap way of making us think the killer was still alive though.

Totally agree. They've done such a great job with her character: she's definitely shown a softer side and we've seen a lot more sides of her character than we did at first, but they haven't sacrificed her hilarious takedowns or bitchy attitude at all
