This is kind of a douchey post, but I do find it really strange that they pulled an episode and replaced it with such a gorey and disturbing episode of television. This may be the first time gore has really affected me on a network show since The X-files ended.

There are actually a ton of parallels between Pushing Daisies and this show: the case of the week, which often involves gruesome corpses, and especially how similar this show's Will Graham and Jack Crawford are to Ned and Emerson Cod. Both Ned and Will have a special but potentially dangerous "gift" connected to

Who do you think NBC is, CBS or something?

I kind of think it was meant to be ambiguous: did Will's get in the killer's head more than he realized, or did he actually see a ghost/angel of some sort? That POV shot was a bit of a cheap way of making us think the killer was still alive though.

Yeah I was completely confused by that. I suppose it was supposed to be mysterious. Knowing this show it's always possible they'll come back to it, but it was odd how nobody questioned it. The good thing is that this show has established this atmosphere where a lot of things don't really have to make sense, and lot of

Maybe the recent acclaim for his performance in Silver Linings Playbook will encourage him to seek out more interesting and challenging roles? We can only hope.

It's not even like Malick is universally beloved, pretty much all his movies have received very divisive reactions initially.

Just in the last couple of years Skyfall, The Avengers, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, The Dark Knight Rises, X-men: First Class, Thor, Captain America, The Raid: Redemption, Fast Five, and Attack the Block have all

They've actually talked about McConaughey making a comeback before, and he did have a good year last year with Magic Mike, Killer Joe, and Bernie. As for Wahlberg… maybe Rabin really liked Ted and Broken City?

Because absolutely no one criticized The Hobbit's length…

I'm not sure why people think critics have this unfair bias towards Bay. They dislike him because he makes bad action movies. It's not like Bay did something to offend critics in particular, they just tend to think his movies are poorly made. Critics are there to publish their opinions on movies, and in the opinion of

Eh, I was fairly excited for the first Transformers movie, and had a pretty low bar for it to clear, and it didn't manage it. The special effects were blurry and poorly done, too much time was spent on LeBeouf's boring and annoying character, and the whole thing was way too long. The crazy camera angles and rapid

Perhaps he just refuses to acknowledge the second one's existence? Much as I just pretend that the second and third Pirates of the Caribbean movies never happened.

The clips come to about 22 minutes so about 17-20 minutes of the episode are missing.

What the fuck? That site is way worse than I'd imagined it.

Totally agree. They've done such a great job with her character: she's definitely shown a softer side and we've seen a lot more sides of her character than we did at first, but they haven't sacrificed her hilarious takedowns or bitchy attitude at all

It wasn't banned by the FCC, Fuller and NBC pulled the episode for being too similar to the Sandy Hook shootings.

That's unfortunate. I guess I'll have to go on and watch that "web series" thing they're doing with clips of it before tomorrow's episode and try to find the whole thing next week.

Apparently I am the master of internet dating or something. I went on a somewhat disreputable gay dating site (well it wasn't nearly as fancy as OK Cupid or something anyway), since I was mostly looking for older guys and have horrible gaydar. Of course my inbox was immediately flooded with messages from some fairly
