Teen Wolf? I've never seen it but it has to be better than this. And it has Michael Hogan who's pretty adorable in his way.

@Scrawler2:disqus The Rose question is interesting. I didn't like her at first, but I really came to love the relationship that grew between her and the doctor in the first season. That never really clicked for me the same way after Eccleston left, but I was still really attached to her and was very wary of her being…
It really did feel like some of Moffat's classic stories that he wrote in the Davies' era that way. I feel like his showrunner duties make him a lot more careless in his plotting than he used to be (and it's gotten worse over time).
Clara doesn't really count though, since everything in 2012 counts as the same production season as this run of episodes, and Coleman didn't appear in S6.
I loved this one too! I kind of wondered if everyone else would hate it, since no one seemed to like "Rings of Akhaten" which I really liked, and I didn't get the fuss about "Cold War" at all. This was the most well paced episode in ages: it kept things moving and kept throwing in twists but didn't feel rushed. It…
How do you people watch an entire fucking season of a show in two days if you don't like it? I really don't get how anyone has the time to do that.
You grossly underrate the complete incompetence of this series sir. House of Cards at least looks like a million bucks and is mostly quite well acted.
I'm sure you're talking about Hemlock Grove? Those hideous camera filters, cheap production values, and indifferent performances are just so gripping!
Agreed, that was freaking terrible. I am willing to give pretty much anything some time to improve and tend to like this kind of supernatural bullshit (I love Vampire Diaries and watched all five seasons of True Blood for some reason), but everything about this one screamed trainwreck from the opening moments onward.…
Exactly, it became clear this week that when you take away Elena's humanity there's nothing interesting or likable about her character at all. She doesn't even seem at all like Elena anymore, or even Katherine. Katherine was always interesting because she was actually pretty emotional and complex, in spite of her…
@avclub-7cbdf9bce9a6ebda0988f7c45702c176:disqus Yeah, wow, that's really convoluted. I have noticed that the show has take to creating these weirdly complex, nonsensical mythologies since season three or so and I'm not really sure why. This is really not the kind of show that needs that sort of thing. I'm realizing…
It's totally weird how apparently none of the characters really care about stopping Silas or Bonnie's magic getting out of hand. They're all like "Yeah, whatever, we have to go to prom and get Elena to turn her humanity back on!" It would be way more interesting if they had to all work together to stop him in spite of…
@avclub-eaf7e6d54e569c2f804fb8abe3c575ad:disqus Galapagos and Bodies are definitely my favorites on the album.
The positive response to that episode was the point when I realized I am really not watching the show for the same reason as the die hard Who fans… it was okay but utterly forgettable, wasted the guest stars, and had a completely cheap cop out ending. I will take a River Song arc episode any day over that.
I guess it just leaves out the episodic plot, which it sounds like is what could cause controversy? It's a pretty weird move though.
Yeah it's kind of strange since it sounds like the episode is more related to Sandy Hook than the Boston marathon bombings… shouldn't they have made the decision not to air it a while ago if they were going to at all? And is the fifth episode really going to be that much less unsettling?
I kind of wonder if all this real world violence is going to hurt Hannibal, it's ratings were way down last week, and preempting an episode might cause some negative buzz. I wonder if they'll still air this episode at some point if we'll have to wait for the DVDs to see it. That said the decision was probably in good…
@bampote:disqus Another surprising Star Wars thing is he didn't even write the script to Empire Strikes Back apparently, he only got a story credit on it. He definitely should have gone that route with the prequels.
Are Ewoks really one of Lucas's primary offenses at this point? What about that Yoda lightsaber fight or "NOOOOOOOOOOOO"? Or everything about the special editions and his constant tinkering with them?
Well yeah, ending up on CSI or some generic CBS procedural would definitely be the worst case scenario for her, at least as far being wasted as an actor goes. Really I'd just like her to be on something I'd be interested in watching (not a big fan of live action Adult Swim).
