I've always wanted to see that, I wish someone would release it already. It has to be better than Alice in Wonderland and the Japanese cast and martial arts aspect sound interesting.

She's just Robin Wright since the divorce from Sean Penn… I imagine if anyone mentions she was once Wright Penn she just gives them an icy stare and silently walks away.
I wonder if the German Lost Highway Blu Ray is worth the money, apparently it can be played on American Blu Ray players. I can't seem to find any reviews for it. I still have the crappy Canadian pan and scan DVD from back before it was available in the US, and want to get a new one, but I'm afraid as soon as I put in…
@avclub-f8f8c273f326be25421cc62737d24a9e:disqus You can't make jokes about auteurs anymore? Lena Dunham is gonna be all over this.
I don't like Spacey very much at all so far, his accent is kind of silly and the performance has been pretty campy and over the top. His often ridiculous dialogue and fourth wall breaking are definitely big setbacks to his character though, so it's not entirely Spacey's fault.
Yeah she's my favorite part of the show by far: Robin Wright is just an incredible actress and commands the screen much more than Kevin Spacey ever did. I was confused by Todd saying her storyline was boring, since it's probably been the most interesting thing in the show to me so far. I just hope they don't give her…
@avclub-cd3d804747cf4c11f495534083caf222:disqus I'm not sure that internet reviews of a Batman show really count as art… I'm all for the "everything is art!" camp but that's taking things way too far.
Oh yeah, I don't really count that because a lot of his stuff is on pretty good quality DVDs and is gradually making it's way to Bluray. It's hardly unavailable. It's not all Criterion Collection quality, but hey they're releasing Eraserhead soon and I'll be surprised if Blue Velvet doesn't make it's way there…
I hadn't heard that, that's pretty great! Although the new scenes I read that were in the shooting script were mostly pretty random and offputting, it's definitely possible/likely that they would be a lot more interesting onscreen. I don't think I'd heard that about the Bowie scene before actually, I don't think the…
What Lynch films are you referring to exactly? Hotel Room? That's the only thing I can think of that isn't easily available in the US. There's also American Chronicles and On the Air, but I don't think those are really available anywhere aside from Youtube. The only other rarities I can think of is the out of print…
@yahoo-XA4RDSRSUX3XRSCPRR7XNGSPUQ:disqus You do realize most of those shows are either already canceled or will be by the end of the season? The only ones I'd bet on for renewal are Go On and The Voice (of course).
Surely Sony can still sell it to other places though? Stuff like Big Bang Theory seems to air on pretty much every channel.
Not sure why everyone keeps saying this… this show's chances of getting renewed are actually pretty high at this point.
Admittedly, last year's Horror Fiction was kind of a letdown. A solid episode, but it felt kind of repetitive and unnecessary, and was nowhere near as funny as the previous Halloween episodes.
Hm, all those shows struck me as more boring or annoying to me than trainwreck worthy, but then again I was never inclined to watch any of them. Smash and The Following seem to the most enjoyable shows to hate watch at the moment.
If it makes you feel better I'm giving you a like instead of the other guy. A joke that's as old as I am deserves some respect.
Yeah Fringe is really not a good example of how to plot your show, it's really kind of amazing that it never entirely fell apart (though I was not a fan of the final season).
I'm gonna go all in and say 2
Well it does seem pretty clear that this will be tv's next big hit, which will run for ten years before launching a series of blockbuster movies. America just can't resist Anthony Edwards.
No, that movie was fucking terrible. Dream Warriors is where it's at.
