Apparently this was actually the first script of the sequels that was actually originally intended to be a Die Hard movie… don't know what it says that it's apparently the worst by far.

Who could forget the performances from master thespians Mandy Moore and Shane West? It's all been downhill since then.

I'm pretty sure that Bowen would be embarrassingly awful in the Juliette role… she doesn't seem to have much in the way of range or acting chops.

The upside is that hardly anyone in this country watches Lost Girl, so I doubt too many people will be making the comparison. I thought of this as well though.

@avclub-8f9f2e0abeda68b5d8d864b53f26c638:disqus Wait, do we all hate Breakfast at Tiffany's now? I thought it was a bit odd it's not on your list. It's maybe not an all time great movie, but it's hugely entertaining, and one of those movies I absolutely have to watch to the end every time it's on tv.

Just watched the first two episodes…. they're fun but I'm feeling a little underwhelmed given how highly praised this show is in Todd's reviews and these comments. It just seems like a enjoyable light comedy so far with uneven acting (Mckinney in particular is pretty lousy so far and Gross seems wildly over the top to

Then in the third season Christina Applegate leaves and it becomes a three camera sitcom set on a farmhouse.

I don't really understand why they would replace Chase: the show has been struggling to find anything for Pierce to do from quite early on, and only really succeeded in parts of the second season. Just get rid of the character and replace him with a new one, it's not like Pierce is an indispensable part of the show.

One of the biggest problems with this show is really the rather ugly brown color scheme, and the way the whole thing is so poorly lit. I feel like it could mix things up and make some moments a lot more dramatic with some more inventive direction (though this occasionally happens, particularly in season finales and

I'm hoping that Klaus moving to his own show will rejuvenate the character, much like Spike moving over to Angel did. The problem with both characters wasn't that they had become bad characters, but the increasingly forced methods the writers use to make them stick around with main gang, simply because they're

Well he actually has a lot of connections in the town, and everyone knows he's way past high school age: I assume Caroline's mom or someone could help him get a job.

I really have to hope that the season will end with Damon somehow choosing/having to turn human, and Elena stays a vampire. It would be the only way to really proceed from this storyline without making it essentially pointless wheel spinning.

I'm enjoying this season a lot in spite of the problematic Delena stuff, because it's the only time since season 2 that we've had a really strong storyline driving things forward: the plotting on this show works best when it involves a quest that is drawn out over the course of a season. I'm excited at how big and

I actually just watched the first season of Sex and the City, and was amazed at how attractive she was, There was something really alluring about her back then: I'd kind of forgotten what she looked like when she was younger. It'll be interesting to see how her appearance changed as the show went on. She was also

What on earth, why was John Woo making straight to video movies in 1998?

Really they should have cast Karen Gillan in that role to fit with the Who continuity better.

But True Blood is completely scorned by the critical community, and is widely considered to be a guilty pleasure, whereas Girls is supposed to be near the pinnacle of great tv currently.

The main thing I got from this review (and a lot of the Girls reviews really) is that Vanderwerff really needs to catch up on indie movies, since they will totally blow his mind if he thinks this show is so revolutionary. This episode reminded me a lot of Take This Waltz (which I found similarly unbearable for the

Apparently the ratings have been pretty much the same as they were back when it was on Mondays, and Girls has dropped a lot from it's already low ratings last year… of course that show gets so much buzz that it's bound to go on for five or six years, but who knows what will happen with Enlightened. It doesn't seem to

I don't really think this season has diminished the character study aspects though, they just tie them in a little more with a central storyline. This episode was definitely a character study and very focused on a particular character, but it managed to move the storyline along a lot.
