Uh, lots of great directors had excellent (very low budget) first films. David Lynch, PT Anderson, Michael Haneke, Quentin Tarantino, Francois Truffaut, Jean-Luc Godard, Alain Resnais, just to name a few. I don't really think they should get a handicap based on what the directors did later.

I'm sorry but that Shirley Bassey song is TERRIBLE. It was a miserable dirge that felt about five hours long. Another Way to Die could be better and doesn't quite sound Bondish enough in the chorus but has a good sound overall and was best theme in quite a while (though Skyfall is much better).
