I don't think they're the same character, personally, as they come across too differently, not just physically, but in personality. But I do think it's clear that they're both angels, and possibly manifestations of the same character. I like how the angels depicted in Millennium - Sammael in "Powers….", Samiel in

I kinda like "Omerta", though it isn't nearly as good as S2's Christmas ep, "Midnight of the Century".  I definitely agree about that soprano bit in the score, it gets intensely annoying.

I agree with everything on this list except for Post-Modern bloody Prometheus. All of the other choices constitute a great intro to the series; I guess P-MP stands as one of the two XF episodes that divides opinion most strongly (the other being "The Field Where I Died", which I love). But personally, I just cannot

I believe this entire run is up on Comixology.

Good, solid run, and great for the fact that it basically consisted of done-in-ones and two-parters, which had become something of a rarity since Grant, Milligan and Moench years beforehand (and endless "big event" story arcs had become a regular Batman staple).

Thanks for mentioning "Dark Knight, Dark City" - one of my favourite Batman stories. In the early 90s Peter Milligan had a short run on Tec as well, mostly with Jim Aparo on art. They got a very mixed reaction at the time, but they're great, spooky done-in-one tales featuring some really macabre villains.

Personally I think TLH is okay, but not great. One thing that annoys me a little is that the creators credit "Year One" in the introduction, but no mention is given to "Eye of the Beholder", the Two-Face origin story from the 1990 Batman annual. TLH definitely got a lot of "inspiration" (very DIRECT inspiration!) from

That whole fantasy about Batman seemed to come out of nowhere.

I read Y: The Last Man about a year ago from beginning to end, and would describe it as good. Yes, good. No more, no less. I liked the characters but never grew to love them, except maybe for 355; the details of the post-disaster world were fascinating and well thought-out, but the clashes with various extremist

I once thought Runaways would make a good cartoon show, but, on further reflection, any kid's network would soon start asking the writers to leave things out - for example, Karolina being a lesbian; unequal girl/boy ratio in the team; the revelation about a minority character, etc. and they'd tinker with it to the

Seconded on the ending of The Maxx - I didn't fully understand it either, but it was quite the tearjerker.

Gil Starberry did a great performance as Udai in this episode, but Mr Gone was definitely his best role.
