Always watched Unsolved Mysteries as a kid. The theme music was simultaneously terrifying and awesome - I loved it and was freaked out by it at the same time. I always hoped the Paranormal title would come up as the crime stuff didn't interest me hugely (though, as pointed out, it could be very scary).

The movie "Jacob's Ladder" freaked me out quite a bit. I first watched it late one night on TV. I don't think it was just one scene in particular (although the abandoned tube station and trip on the hospital gurney do stand out), but the escalting creepiness and tension that built up as Jacob's visions got more and

Agree with Rippke about "Blades", that's a fantastic story. Perhaps the best of the Legends of the Dark Knight story arcs and there's some strong competition there.

I thought this show was solid, but I don't agree it was the best of all Marvel shows - Spectacular Spider-Man, which ran alongside it, was better IMO, and probably my favourite comic-based cartoon since B:TAS.

Aquaman
Wonder Woman
Batman
Justice League Dark
Action Comics
Animal Man

Disagree. Sometimes the singing doesn't quite work, but it never ruins an episode for me, and sometimes enhances it. Maybe it's just because I heart Olivia Olson so much. And Finn's song to Susan Strong (sniff) was sweet too.

Actually the episodes included on the DVD collection aren't at all bad. But check out "Tree Trunks", "The Enchiridion", "Evicted", "Dungeon" - they would serve as a good intro to AT.

I think MLP is pretty decent, but I much prefer both shows, especially AT. Definitely give that a try.

I like both shows a lot, though both are slightly inconsistant IMO (this applies to P&F a little more than AT). AT's third season got to a bit of a slow start, but the last few episodes have been great.

I always liked the "Unfair Science Fair" episodes, and how they were seperate in themselves but essentially part of the same story.

A few years back, any mention of Nirvana on a music message board would guarantee to bring in a ton of "overrated, blah blah blah" comments. Thankfully that backlash seems to have died down.

Little Roy, a veteran reggae artist who's been making music for decades, recently released "Battle for Seattle", a short album of Nirvana covers. It's really good, with "Dive", "Heart Shaped Box", "About a Girl" being some highlights. The cover of "Son of a Gun" is great too, though technically that's not Nirvana…

Don't agree with the dislike for "In Bloom" here, it's still definitely one of the standout tracks for me. It's hard to pick an absolute favourite, though "Something in the Way" is the weakest.

Lots of great music covered here, but my personal favourite single of the year is probably "Her Jazz" by Huggy Bear. The whole "riot grrl" scene never made much of an impact despite some sensationalistic media coverage (and the British iteration vanished when Britpop got big) but it left behind one or two powerful

My favourite TV character in years! She rules too much!

It has some amusing moments that bring it slightly over "The Great Divide", but i don't care too much for it either - it definitely came across as a weaker episode on repeat viewings. It seems kinda "all over the place" in tone, a problem I also had with the previous ep "The Swamp". Luckily S2 was fantastic from the

It's the most enjoyable King book in a long while. As others have noted, it's long, but addictive enough to be finished in a couple of days. Personally I didn't care for the plot development towards the end of the book, but the explanation gives just enough info while remaining ambiguous.

That's one thing that sets Millennium back, especially between S2 and S3 - very bad and confusing continuity. But the writing is strong enough overall to more than make up for it!

Loved this scene as well, and loved Lara Means. Her breakdown was mindblowing, and totally original - never seen anything quite like it before or since. I hear some differing opinion about it - some think it's a complete waste of time. But Millennium, especially in its second season, is awesome exactly because it does
