I didn't want to post under someone else's thread so here is my two cents:This just makes me really unhappy all around. I really liked LP and I truly do hold the AV Club to higher standards than other similar sites. I hope this is the last time something like this happens.

Review be damned, I'm still not buying it. The commercials have that awful kind of "you go girl!" feel to it where you know it will be all empowering until her ass actually needs saving. Also I hate this style of animation. Hate, hate, hate it.

I have a Daria book on my shelf right now as well. Apparently I collect stupid things that don't need to exist.

The books would be in the, uh, normal classification? No matter how confusing it is Reichs still only writes under her own name, not a character's. (As far as I know.)

I think it was a pretty accurate satire of other "angry republican" books. That being said, if a book includes stickers that will always be the best part.
