I'm half expecting his "working late, again" to be an affair with another woman, which would destroy the family more thoroughly.

1/8th of a mile by 1/10th of a mile is 8 acres*, so the property isn't even that big. 1/8th of a mile is, what, a 2 minute walk?

I'm an accountant, not a lawyer, but if he expressed the genuine desire to change his documents and specifically laid out how, I think that would have quite a bit of weight in a court. And if you got all his documents thrown out, guess who gets all his stuff? His wife, with dozens of witnesses to their consummation,

Foster is the first Broadway transplant I haven't wanted to strangle for playing to the back seats, so I don't agree with you on that.

I got through the first Elric book, but I really can't enjoy that level of darkness. I wound up spoiling the rest of the series for myself on Wikipedia and have never regretted it.

No, of course tokenism that furthers stereotypes is worse. Tokenism where they murder the actor after each episode and recast is also worse. I don't really see why I had to specifically denounce either.

Tokenism isn't worse than a complete lack of representation.

We also saw Emily at New Years '91, which was presumably December 1990. To be 18 in 2002, she would have to be 6 there. That's just a couple years past plausible for me; she looked 8-10 to me. But that doesn't fit with other facts, so I think they've bungled the whole thing. Or maybe I misread the '91 on the TV.

Also, how could she ever become "The Nazi" when Ellis was already sterning it up? For Karev, I figured he started normal and Preppy Meredith turned him into that.

That's a good point that Blair's weird God psychosis really undermines the character. And this season has really let down last season's return to an acceptable level of fun. And I hate that Dan and Blair have to be this dramatic will-they-won't-they couple instead of just being buddies who see artsy movies together

Very happy you're doing this, but I can't promise I'm going to be a regular reader til you get to the second season.  I struggled through the first season as long as I could but wound up having to skip half a dozen episodes to get to the end.

So, be honest, how many people did you have to yell at for having Mad Men on their ballots?

We only saw one manic state, and she didn't come up with anything that was useful until Saul used his own skills to put it together.  Maybe if she'd been medicated the idea wouldn't have been so disorganized for her and she would have known what she was after on her own.  I'm inclined to believe that she was a much

It bugged me a lot at the end that Saul was running about like Carrie was going to be lobotomized.  My wife's the psychiatrist, not me, but I'm fairly confident the effects of ECT on people are frequently referred to as "miraculous."  Probably wouldn't have bothered me if I'd fully bought the execution of the rest of
