THANK YOU!
THANK YOU!
I really wish Kate would actually call Jack out on his shit. From like episode 5, through season 5 or 6 - he's ALWAYS, I mean ALWAYS, an ass to her.
It's funny, because having a volcano on the island was actually one of those things that the Lost team wanted to do from season one - and it just kept being pushed further and further into their "eh, maybe another episode" plans to the point where it never got used.
It's interesting that, especially during the airing of the first ten or so episodes of season one, just how fucking much of a impending chaotic wildcard Kate was seemingly being built up to being.
Someone else said something about how she got the news, literally a few weeks after moving her family to Hawaii. So yeah…
I always felt that Michelle Rod was an awesome actress, who just always opted for absolutely shitty movies.
Is it possible it wasn't even filmed in Hawaii? I can't see why else she'd do it. Unless there were other filmed scenes with her that got scraped all together.
They reeeally should've shown Skyler's investigation into Walt over several episodes, leading to her exposition dump in the s2 finale. Just having it all happen off-screen and JUST the exposition dump seriously skips loads of potential for awesome Skyler material, as well as makes it seem out of left field.
All I know, is that all the Libby info that was cut - would have been revealed through Charlotte flashbacks. Whether that was as a coworker or a sister or whatever, is up to speculation.
No shit sherlock. It was very obviously changed completely. :P
I suppose my memory was just being wonky. Thanks for clarifying! I wonder what other parts of the show i've misremembered. Hence why continuing the rewatch into seasons i've seen less will be good. :D
Something about how Libby and Charlotte were supposed to be sisters or some such nonsense, and that's why Charlotte wanted to come? Idk. Something dumb like that, supposedly.
A lot of the Skyler hate, IMO, could have been avoided if she was better written, was actually funny(humor can go a LOOOONG way in making a character likeable) and if she didn't seem like such a footnote so much of the time.
I think I definitely heard plenty of theories about how Christian's daughter would be an Other or some such nonsense, and how that would tie in with why Jack's the main character. I don't know. The absurd number of theories around the show at any given time(whether it was episode 1, or episode 100) is incredible.
Wait, I thought she was shot and killed by Ben…?
When he sees Taller Ghost Walt? No, still normal Locke.
I, personally, adored basically everything about Ana Lucia. I thought she was an excellent character, and while she's obviously the Michelle Rod typecast, it has the benefit of being the only example of Michelle Rod's typecast in a GOOD story - so it made her presence all the more powerful IMO.
It definitely didn't occur to me. Largely helped by the fact Claire wasn't even in the episode.
Not to mention, Penny.
Nobody counts Across the Sea. Because it's the worst. The wooooooorst.
