The actual Pearl Harbor attack part was pretty great. Like song in Team America says, Cuba Gooding Jr. should have had a bigger part. PO2 Dorie Miller is a much more interesting character.

Kojima's stories are so fucking insufferable.

I loved that show but I still think Moore mostly fucked up the final season.

From Dusk till Dawn does not turn into a gory horror movie. It turns into a gory slapstick comedy with horror tropes along the lines of Evil Dead 2.

She has a bad season and gets relegated to the minors. She then rebuilds herself as a knuckleballer along the lines of R.A. Dickey and makes it back up to the bigs.

Eastbound and Down

They might be perennially bottom of the National League West but at least they have made it to the Series twice since the last time the Cubs made it.

Charlie Sheen is really good in Platoon though.

Hey! Looper was awesome.

Haha Joseph Gordon-Levitt rockin' the BCGs!

What the fuck is La Croix?

I know the AV Club commentariat isn't monolithic. There are plenty of people questioning the Dikachu line as well as plenty of people defending it. Are you prepared to call South Park's treatment of Mormons and Scientologists bullying too? Either nothing is off limits, or everything is.

Scroll through the comments and see all the hand-wringing going on because of Matt and Trey's penchant for mocking both sides of the spectrum. There's a lot of "I really like it when they mock Trump, but when they turn their sights on a belief of mine that's where they lose me" type shit going on here.

That is what is so shitty about this election. Neither side can defend their candidate on their own merits. They are both so flawed that the only defense a supporter can come up with is "at least they aren't as shitty as Trump/Clinton".

The idea that far right conservatives suddenly gained a sense of humor about their beliefs is laughable, but other than that he isn't wrong.

It's right wing leaning because it made fun of liberals too.

I want the Mos Eisley cantina one.

You're not wrong, but I like Tragic Kingdom so much that I'm willing to give them a pass on that one.

Gwen Stefani ruined herself when she bailed on No Doubt.
