I don't know that it's the acting so much as that George is a self-righteous, self-absorbed prick. Wade actually isn't that much better; he just doesn't pretend not to be a dick. Also he is hotter. So much hotter.

As awesome as this theory is, I don't think the ages work out. Mellie can't be very far past 40, given that she's pregnant again, and got that way pretty easily (which really indicates she should be WAY younger), and Quinn is 28.

I think it Connor could actually get in a lot of legal trouble. Insurance fraud, ofr starters. And possibly arson/public endangerment or something. I don't think it's legal to start a fire just because it's your house.
