I was just happy that it Foggy who Claire was talking about when she said she knew a good lawyer. And even in that brief interaction I was just reminded why he was the saving grace of DD season 2.

Serious question and this isn't an attempt to pick on the Iron Fist as this was honestly that utterly confused me. Why does Danny Rand assume that everyone in K'un-Lun is dead? We know that it is a city that only briefly exists in this dimension every 15 or 20 years. And when Danny returned there, it just wasn't…
That starting fight scene might have been the worst fight scene I've seen in these shows yet, which is saying a lot. I was also utterly confused by the editing and shooting as I couldn't understand the choices half of the time there. Were they trying to hide Finn's limitations? Was that supposed to be suspenseful? I…
Man does Sigourney Weaver have a big task in trying to make Hand feel formidable again, but she really succeeeded in her scenes here. I also did like that they actually gave a sensible reason why the Hand would be moving in such a visible way as it was fun for once to understand their actions on some level.
I hope it is some comfort to the reviewer, if I recall certain preferences correctly, that SDL isn't bothering treating Nattie as a serious contender either. It is utterly baffling how they essentially had her become the Summerslam challenger out of nowhere and after that have done nothing to put any heat on the feud.
I was really surprised that they gave the Cena/Nakamura match a clean finish, although to be fair so was the person writing the recaps for WWE as their site claimed that the win came after a Corbin interference. I also don't quite understand why they didn't hint the Corbin attack before cutting to the Network as now…
I wish a fond farewell to the AV Club WWE coverage, slightly comforted by the fact that the person who brought these reviews here gets to also write the last one for now. They have been fun, different looks in to the product and have often given me much to think about. They will be missed and hopefully find a home…
Yeah, even if I'm not a fan of Bayley's work, everything felt really off and weird after that shoulder spot. Especially because I don't think that was supposed to be such a spot as that slam doesn't usually target the shoulder.
I'm completely in on Amrbose/Rollins story and WWE has been doing such a fantastic job with it. Each segment tonight was logical and there was an emotional truth. Even Ambrose's explanation of coming out and still not trusting Rollins made complete sense.
Most tragic of news to hear that the AV Club recaps are going away. They did a good job at approaching the stories from a different angle and often gave food for thought.
By the way, Renee Young and Daniel Bryan did a rogue show on Tout called Smacking Talk. I won't spoil anything that happened there except state that it was brilliant and everyone should spend a couple of minutes watching it.
What really shocked me in that Jinder/Cena segment was that when it stared, I almost groaned in trepidation considering the past month, but there was nothing jingoistic about the exchange. It was just Jinder proclaiming himself the winner and the smarter man with Cena expressing respect for Jinder's willingness to do…
I think what highlighted how bad Battleground was for me is that I think this was a really good SDL, yet at the same time I find it really difficult to get excited for it because of how horrid Battleground was. I mentioned this elsewhere, but I really hope few years from now, we will get a podcast where someone is…
I've seen the Zayn match. I've also seen all his major WWE matches after that one match. Hence the criticism as I think we are at the point when it is fair to start asking questions about the performer himself.
I'm currently legitimately debating with myself do I even bother watching SDL as outside the tag team division, everything there just feels abysmal.
I think I squeed when they showed Sheasaro watching the main event backstage as that is further indication that they are going to feud with Rollins/Ambrose, which is great on so many levels. It is going to elevate the tag team titles so much, the two teams have tons of credibility and there are a lot of great stories…
I so desperately needed this Raw after Battleground as it reminded me of why I am such a WWE fan after whatever the hell that was on Sunday.
No need to apologies, that first part was just my attempt at jest. I actually lived in the same city as Halme, but never had the chance to meet him. Although I do remember him from my childhood when he was one of the gladiators in the Finnish version of that show.
We aren't that small of a people that I personally know every Finn here, although I thought Halme had the swastika tattoo already when he was a wrestler. At least Prichard spoke about the awkwardness of them.
I didn't think it was as good as it could have been, as the two had some timing issues, but I thought it was impressive and showed promise of what they can do after getting some ring time against each other. What was even better was that they were clearly trying out new things and keeping a good pace, which should add…
