I have nothing but respect for the performer, but 'Oh Tamina' is starting to be a regular thing for me when watching SDL. This time was when she delivered the superkick to Nattie at the end and fell down after doing despite not actually having had a match or basically any physical activity before that.

It's actually not that surprising, Mauro's background is actually in boxing commentary and I think he landed back on Showtime pretty soon after initially leaving WWE.

As my fellow Finn, I am more than aware of him. Halme was after all a MP here.

As a sidenote, I do love that the implication of Cena's promo about the hallowed US Flag and how it needs to fly high is that Bulgarian flag just doesn't mean as much.

My two favorites in the Fashion Files segment was how fast Tyler became a believer, which I thought was a brilliant jab at the actual tv show, and when they brought out the Seven reference at the end. Although Fandango continuing to treat the delivery guy as an alien was pretty golden as well.

People, I think Cena really loves the US of A. Like a lot. To the degree that Nikki should perhaps be a bit jealous.

While I do like what they did with Hardys, Revival and GB this episode, I'm also wondering if Sheamus did get injured at GBoF and that is the reason they are keeping Sheasaro off TV? After one of the rough spots towards the end of the match, Sheamus did look really out of it. Didn't think much on it then, but now I'm

It was really weirdly executed as I couldn't understand why having an illegitimate child in college which he didn't know about would have destroyed Angle's career. Although according to Prichard, Vince considers bastard to be one of harshest insults there is, so maybe that it is.

I really liked the interactions between Seth and Dean as well as that it does feel like they are setting up a longer story with the two of them which I am genuinely excited to see unfold. Also I thought Seth really delivered in that opening segment even if his start was a bit rocky and that sacrificial moment was

So it seems that we are going to get that Fatal Fourway at SummerSlam. I really hope they are going to enforce the ring there because that will be an extraordinary amount of beef in the ring.

I do partially love how JBL is somehow at the root of every issue at SDL. I'm waiting for someone connect Lana's bizarro push to JBL once complimenting her.

Yeah, there's been no mention of Raw Talk and WWE has been clear that Talking Smack was moved to be the PPV schedule. The reasons for that decision is debated, but the PPV shows do a lot better in viewership than the post-SDL show.

The Charlotte/Becky situation is so weird at the moment because of SDL's focus issues as I don't think the inverse alignments to necessarily a bad thing. On the positive side something I have liked is that SDL has allowed Charlotte and Becky to feel like friends again in an organic way, unlike the overt hammering of

Yeah, it almost feels that SDL creative, or at least parts of it, were taken by surprise that Charlotte would be a face as they seemed to be establishing the division for an arrival of a big heel. To be fair, they tried to address the problem only to even there end up squandering their efforts. The Welcoming Committee

Yeah, I think time is a huge problem on SDL and since they probably won't cut the amount of top men's programs, it will always lead to this balancing act with the tag division as SDL doesn't even really even run bottom-card men's feuds. Even the example of the better times I see used, the beginning of the year when

The difficulty with Tamina, though, is that she's never been well-received from an in-ring work point of view and she's had multiple opportunities at it during the Diva Era. This isn't an unknown quantity here and we've already seen in her matches since return that she still has a very small move arsenal while her

Dear Lord with SDL and their obsession with multi-women matches. Out of their six PPVs this year, five have had a women's match wtih 5 or 6 women in it. Because of that focus, outside of Naomi and now Carmella, every single women's segment is basically being able to throw out a line or two before moving to the other

While this episode felt like it was missing something, I do like what they are doing with the top three men's feuds. And only after writing that I realized I wasn't including the WWE title in that group.

Another wrestling recapper that will be missed by me. As with Ferguson, I don't always agree with Wilkins's interpretation/analysis, but this is an inherently subjective form of entertainment and I always appreciate attempts to at least explain those viewpoints and admit biases, such as the tongue-in-cheek Emma

The women's tag match was so weird. It wasn't bad, but it just felt like they were trying to reset things to lead to a probably Fatal Fourway at SummerSlam which lead to these weird dynamics. For example, suddenly Nia wasn't this unstoppable terminator with Sasha and Bayley dispatching her with surprising ease.
