Well great, all I've been saying after Harmon's firing is 'at least they still have Megan Ganz.'

1. The episode? Yes. The scene? Fantastically shot but feels a bit disconnected from the rest.
2. I've stopped caring.
3. Twin Peaks or Angel. Actually I gotta put the Sopranos up there.

Seeing as David Chase pretty much just validated everything you've been saying for the last 2 years I think you've earned it. And I personally would like to see the other great parts of the episode given equal analysis.

But Season 6, stupid as it was, was so utterly predictable. I correctly guessed almost every story beat just from watching the previews. If Dexter, the schlocky thriller I only watched to know what happens, is completely predictable than its failed.

Dan Castalanetta freaking the fuck out was always his best work.

An important aspect of this episode is how alienated you feel from Tony's world by the end of the episode. That's why there's so much 'gratuitous' violence in it, to expose how insulated the main characters are against the damage they cause to others.
