I agree, you shouldn't downgrade this episode for not giving you flashbacks that it never promised you. I thought it was tops, with about a half-dozen classic character moments. (Ben's reaction shots alone could have carried this ep.)
You can't go wrong with either one. I like Twilight a little better, but In The Air was the next release in sequence, so get that one.
My favorite Madden quote, describing replay of a guy getting laid out by a vicious hit: "He's perpendicular! He's perpendicular! He's perpendicular to the guy, and then he's perpendicular to the ground!" And on and on like that. And the whole time, he meant parallel.

I figured Ben was being unsubtle with Caesar because he's just met him and doesn't know how to play him. He can't play his mind games until he knows your mind.
Minor point but one that bugs me
Why does the janitor have a key to the jail cell? Seems like you'd want to restrict those to the security team.
I loved Ten. The I bought Vs. when it came out, listened to it once, and sold it back, all because of "Glorified version of a pelican." I might react differently today.

If he knows who killed him, then will he show his tits?
I want to agree with JB, that there's one timeline and Desmond can alter it because he's special. Then again, there's no reason to think he's the only one that's special.
But can Penn do the Stimpy voice?
As good as Carlos' was, it was Charlotte's that made me snort cocaine. I mean, out loud.

I get very irritated when subtitles ruin the comic timing of a line. The punchline shouldn't be printed on the screen while the set-up is still being delivered. Yeah, we need a foreign comedy to get the Nightwatch treatment. (Funny thing about Nightwatch, that the subtitles were by far the best thing about the…

"Baby, We're The Same" is my favorite Matthew Sweet song. Actually the first 4 songs off 100% Fun would prolly be the best Power Pop EP ever.
