Ilana Asleep
If you were guarding a prisoner on a flight to Guam, would you allow yourself to go to sleep? If you were a marshal or international policewoman or the like, wouldn't you assert yourself after an emergency landing and take charge a little more? I'm starting to doubt everything I ever assumed about Ilana.

Every idea in this thread is a good one. I'd tip my hat to you, but I haven't got a hat.

My 14 year old nephew speaks Latin. It's not that hard.

I'm guessing Dream/Ghost Claire's warning to Kate kind of covers for Aaron not coming back.

But Ghost-Yemi made a point of saying he was *not* Yemi. "You speak to me as if I were your brother." Ghost-Christian seems to act like his *is* Christian, even referring to Jack as his son. (Unless he was telling Locke to say hi, not to Jack, but to someone else?)

I reckon smurf is RE-watching it in the background while on Facebook. Try to be more Brainy and less Grumpy!

Maybe the Smoke Monster has taken up permanent residence in the barracks. The sonic fence had been keeping him out for years, and he's making up for lost time. For all we know there is something about the place that attracts Smokey which necessitated the sonic fence in the first place.

When Sun left on the chopper, she had a baby in her belly. She was supposed to bring Ji Yeon back with her.

Of course Jack is going to fuck everything up. Asshole. But it was fun watching him awaken the nasty in Sawyer.

"If your Missus misses Miss March, you May have Mister too!"

Yes, Hef is so cool for treating women the same as sports cars and expensive wines: to be treasured as lifestyle accessories.

Fuck yeah! Chuck-E-Cheese can suck a goiter. Fartin' coin shoulda come up HEADS!

The second installment of the Sunshine Trilogy
To be followed by a remake of The Sunshine Boys, about two aging Vaudevillians, both played by Alan Arkin, who die and must be disposed of in quirky, life-affirming ways.

Yes, the most helpful reviews have some "you'll like this if…", although admittedly "I didn't like this because" is a more entertaining read.

I will argue that Mr. Cable Guy has talent, but lacks taste or creative ambition. I caught five minutes of Blue Collar Comedy Whatsit, with all four onstage together, and he was leagues ahead of those other guys. Dude has potential and no desire to fulfill it.

APPLES!

Isn't that the recipe for Smurfette?

In the book, the "boss battle" is pointedly anti-climactic. You just can't do that in a blockbuster movie. There are rules. Sorry.

My wife and I saw Castaway at some multiplex in Chicago. (I don't even remember which one, it was the only time I've been there.) It was the final screening of the night. We were both really enjoying it. We're clearly at the end of Act 2 of the story: Tom Hanks has built his upgraded raft to make his second

@Frank Libidous nailed it. Ben needs Sun to return to the island. He gains intelligence that Jin is alive on the island and immediately plans to use that info to manipulate Sun. His quip, "A promise is a promise", is already dripping with irony. That's all the explanation necessary to explain Ben's reaction.
