I'm having a problem where it says "Show 1 New Reply" instead of just updating the fucking thread. I'm also having a separate issue where instead of showing all the replies, after a while it just decides I don't need to see all the replies anymore, just like one or two.

The second was 'Rashomon' with cars. The third was 'Irreversible' with cars, the fourth and fifth were 'The Fellowship of the Ring' and 'The Two Towers', respectively. The sixth was the first movie all over again but in Japan.

Vin Diesel is working on a solution which it turns out is a partial overlap of a number of possible solutions. If only he could think of a snappy name for it.

My new responsive website only shows large pictures before 8a and after 6p in whatever timezone you happen to be.

50/50 out of the gate is probably pretty good. It takes a while to change users' established habits. Once that happens, and more previous functionality is added back, I would expect those numbers to rise as users get new habits to compensate for the changes they don't like.

It's still actually really easy to just let people load all the comments. It's actually less code than limiting it artificially.

On a desktop the font is too large and within articles the text should be sans-serif; on mobile devices a serif font is fine because it improves readability. On a large screen it's a jumble of extraneous lines; and god forbid you're using a browser that doesn't anti-alias fonts. It's headache-inducing.

If it's anything like me, I'm just too old to time my load anymore.

I sent in a printout of each page covered in red pen corrections, so we'll see what happens after that.
