Had the pleasure of working with Jarecki and Smerling way back in 2003 when I did some work on the Capturing the Friedmans DVD. Their other in-development project at the time was the story of Robert Durst. So 12 years later it finally comes to fruition - couldn't have happened to more deserving people!

It has to do with the reflections more than anything else, which ultimately yes looks like a contrast issue. Many times when people composite over tv screens, they overlook the reflection aspect and literally composite right on top of it.
