I always thought it would have been cool if they had made the film versions of Desperation and The Regulators in the same manner that the books were made - both released on the same day, starring the same cast playing two different sets of characters.
They should really rename this feature 'Bad Job, Intern At (AV Club)!' because these things are increasingly dumb and badly done and no one likes them and you should feel bad if you thought this was good.
