Eh, he's a monster. I don't blame anybody for wanting him dead. He's earned it. Pence too. But I don't want anybody to kill him, because his image will just be more powerful in death. The only way we'll actually stop him and people like him is to let them hang themselves, now that they have all the rope in the world.

the right wingers will be all "rest in peace to Donald Trump, a great hero who brought us all together but was brutally slain by a radical Muslim because he was too American"

yes but he's quoting a Tommy Wiseau interview where they were not used in that context

(he's referencing an interview in which they were used as nouns)

"Discussing the source for Hook, she bizarrely states that, “In the kinky gender dynamics of the play, Peter [Pan] is generally played by a girl, a ‘trans’ or asexual choice that serves two purposes: the actor/character can take on sensitive qualities that would be ‘sissy’ if possessed by a boy, and she can never grow

Whatever cause they want. He's malleable in life and he'll be even more malleable in death.

No. Then he'll be a martyr. Better for him to live to see his own downfall.

I love how - despite being largely studio creations, built with sampling, etc. - there's nothing about any of the tracks that feels like it's just in there to show off that Bon Iver can be electronic now. They're just amazingly well-written songs that utilize these sounds as tools, and any of them could be performed

making movies about morally ambiguous things is Bad

Breaking News: Old Man is Old, Outrage Ensues

I mean it in the best way possible. I love that album, I think it's one of the best I've heard in my life. I just heard a lot of complaints about the lo-fi recordings and bursts of noise throughout, and I think the live album provides an alternate version of those songs for people who don't enjoy that sound as much as

I recommend Bon Iver: Live at Pioneer Works to anyone who was put off by the abrasiveness and ugliness of the recordings on 22, A Million. The re-arrangements here are fantastic - "666" might be even better in this recording than on the album - and essentially take these very odd tunes into a more accessible format.

Unfortunately, Soulja will probably lose, which sucks because Chris Brown deserves to have his ass beaten

I think she just goes by Solange. Like how Beyonce goes by Beyonce.

Well, this sounds exactly as awful as I expected it to be. Shame.

Skip ahead to the last few episodes of the season.

A little while back there was a picture going around the internet of Indiana Jones punching a Nazi, captioned "college professor in altercation with alt-right serviceman."

Just wait for Casablanca: Origins.

How long before that becomes the premise of a horror movie?

Chutes falls slightly behind it for me because it's not as eclectic. Wincing touches on so many genres and sounds while staying grounded in what the Shins do best, and every song has such a distinct personality.
